Offering discounts on Gift Certificates

So as part of an incentive to get more people to buy online from us vs in store during these difficult times, we were wanting to offer a bit of a percentage off of our gift certificates. If I go into Specials, it flat out says that anything from GV coupons cannot be added to specials. I can go into Sale Maker, which will let me set a percentage off, set a begin and end date, and says it was completed successfully, but it won't actually reflect that on the product or art pages.

Is there anyway AT ALL to actually do this?

Re: Offering discounts on Gift Certificates

As much as I’d love to, that’s sadly not going to happen anytime soon, unless I get more free time at work. I actually just found a “bulk discount” plugin, so I got that and set them at a minimum of 1.
