Spam Registrations

I'm having issues with fake logins, and it's increasing. Can someone tell me what to do? Is Captcha my best option, or something else. My cart just hums along with no issues and then this pops up and I'm lost.

Is it hard to install a module myself? I built my cart, but it was years ago and I don't want to attempt something and mess it up. I just need direction, please, you are always so helpful.

My version is 1.5.5f

I DID IT, I actually built a working cart, with the help of so many of you, Stevesh, Schoolboy, RescoCCC, to name a few. I just take one bite out of the elephant at a time and try to keep my sense of humor...

Take a look at the Non-Captcha plugin

The instructions are pretty straight forward.
Portions of it have been incorporated into zc1.5.7

Thanks for the help, this looks like it might be good option for me.
