how to create a link to jump to a specific part of a page?

Hello. I am not sure if this post should go here but, if not maybe admin can move it.

I am trying to create a link on my fragrance page so that customers can click on say Food, and have the page jump to the Food fragrance section. Here is the link to the page in which I am trying to change: Fragrance.

Here is how I would like it to look. On top row:

      Beverages Flora/Fauna Food Seasonal Other

Then below would be....

Beverages
Amaretto:
Beer:
etc

Flora/Fauna
Bourbonwood:

And so on with the rest of the fragrances. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. First off, you might want to Google "link to items on the same page html". That will tell you how to make the links in your text that you are going to point to.

Then, using the Developer's Toolkit, you can find the page that places the items on the navMainWrapper and place your links there just like it's done for home and login.

I see what you're saying but, I'm talking about keeping everything on just that one fragrance page.

  1. You've got your whole set of fragrances duplicated on your page, some more than twice.

  2. To add a clickable "anchor", there are two steps required:

a. In the HTML of the page you need to identify each heading with an id=something parameter.
Example:

<p id="kentucky-bourbon"><span style="font-size:17px;"><b><u>Kentucky Bourbon:</u></b> An intoxicating blend of bourbon,
rum, and cognac notes unfold into a heart of geranium, palmarosa, and rose accords. A dark, woody blend of cedar and vetiver create
the base. Notes: Top – bourbon, rum, cognac; Middle –geranium, palmarosa, rose; Bottom - cedar, vetiver.
<strong>Phthalate Free:</strong> Yes</span></p>

b. Then elsewhere on your website or in your marketing emails, add that identifier using a hash-mark (#) prefix.
eg:

https://example.com/index.php?main_page=page_2#kentucky-bourbon

Nice looking website.... what template did you use? My M-I-L says my store looks outdated.... :( oh I see in the link at the bottom.
Also, when you underlined the fragrances it made me think I could click them.
