EZ Pages Not Showing In Admin Panel

Hi,

I have v.1.5.8 and made all of my customizations and installed my addons in Wamp server on my local computer to make necessary adjustments and insure that everything works well.

I have now uploaded this version to my website inside a subfolder. After integrating my current database, when I go to Admin->Tools->EZ Pages none of them are showing in there and I do not have a button to create a new EZ Page.

When looking in my database, both the EZ Pages and EZ Pages content are there and have all of the right information in there.

In looking at my logs, I have this error:

PHP Fatal error: 1060:Duplicate column name 'pages_title' :: SELECT count() as total FROM (SELECT e., ec.pages_title, ec.pages_html_text FROM zen_ezpages e INNER JOIN zen_ezpages_content ec ON (e.pages_id=ec.pages_id AND ec.languages_id = 1) ORDER BY e.toc_chapter, e.toc_sort_order, ec.pages_title) countresults ==> (as called by) /home/mysite/public_html/new158/myadmin/includes/classes/split_page_results.php on line 220 <== in /home/mysite/public_html/new158/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 667.

Not sure where I have gone wrong.....It appears from this error that I have a duplicate column name, but have checked in my database to see and there is only 1 column titled 'pages_title' in EZ Pages and EZ Pages Content tables.

If someone could please point me to what this error is referring to and how to fix this, I would appreciate it.

that query runs fine for me on a zc158 site.

i would double check that you are looking at the correct database as you did say you were installing in a subfolder, and perhaps you have some of your database configurations a little confused.

you should be able to run that query above using phpmyadmin or some other mysql tool. i would try running it there, ensuring that you have the correct db selected.

This is a known bug in Zen Cart. For older databases with prefixes, some of the updates failed.

swguy, the known bug that you mention refers to a duplicate column in the ezpages table:

ALTER TABLE ezpages DROP COLUMN pages_title;

the OP states that he checked both tables. which is why i made my recommendation.

Thanks very much for passing this along! I have run the SQL statement and it has corrected my issue where I can now see my EZ Pages and also have the button back to Add New.

You're welcome. Thanks for confirming that it was the database upgrade issue, as I suspected. This bug has been fixed but users with prefixes who have already upgraded will have to take the manual step you did.
