not strictly Seurity but a configuration issue in versions beyond v155f

the last post by simon1066 and my subsequent response explains the apparent 'frailty' in these settings in configuration - see this specific post
changing the settings fixed the issue. The same settings worked fine in v1.5.5f before the upgrade to 1.5.7b so not sure if a fix is necessary .... over to you guys.
