Google and Yahoo to block email without DMARC
This applies to all who send bulk email in any amount and specifically to those sending 5,000 emails at a time. If you send more than 5,000 at one time, you will need to Google the new unsubscribe settings requirement.
On 1 February, Google and Yahoo will start blocking email that does not have SPF, DKIM, or DMARC settings correctly applied.
You should have these settings on your domain even if you don't send bulk emails.
And, if you use a service to send bulk emails you will need to check with that service as to what DNS settings are required for you domain.
To test your domain's compliance, go to https://mxtoolbox.com and enter your domain. If you get the three check marks in a green circle, your domain is setup correctly.
If you use something like MailChimp or ConstantContact, you will need to check with them to find out what additional DNS settings are needed to have their emails comply with the DMARC requirement.
