How to emulate PayPal's order creation process?
PHP 8.4 / ZC 2.1.0
I want to take a module that is currently published and change the way how it's creating orders on the ZenCart site.
Currently, the walkthrough is:
- Customer starts the checkout process.
- Confirms method of shipment
- Confirms method of payment (currently plisio and cointopay)
- ZC makes the new order and sends it to the DB
- Browser redirects to the hosted payment page for payment
(And here is where the problems begin)
The order is now created and awaiting payment. If the order is cancelled or not completed, it just sits there.
How can I mimic the pathway of PayPal so that it only completes the payment AFTER the order is completed
