Weird loop with encapsulated versions and updating/adding keys

PHP 8.4 / ZC 2.1.0 (but also happens on ZC 2.2.0)

Right now, the USPSRestful has an encapsulated version which, after upgrading versions, always runs into the following problem:

Visiting the Shipping Modules configuration for USPSr and attempting to save the settings as is will cause the configuration screen to loop back, as if there is an error, but no error message is present.

This seems only to be a problem when running as encapsulated, not so much a standard install. I cannot figure out what would cause ZenCart to not update.
