Sub categories not displaying in center panel.

Sub categories not displaying in center panel.
https://rarecoinsandtokens.co.uk/

The above site no longer displays SUBcategories in the center panel when a category is selected from the Left Hand Menu. The SUB categories are displayed in the menu listing.
The center panel USED to display the subcategories by name in the center panel until a subcategory with products was selected, then the products get displayed.

Can anyone advise why the subcategories might no longer display in the center panel please?
I manage the site for a friend, but do not create categories or enter products personally. Those are created and entered by the site owner.

Thankyou

1.5.5b
PHP Version: 7.1.33 (Zend: 3.1.0)
Database: MySQL 5.5.5-10.3.39-MariaDB

You're seeing a "partial white screen", implying that there's a PHP error when trying to display those sub-categories' content. Look in the site's /logs directory for files named myDEBUG-*.log that identify the symptom.

Re: Sub categories not displaying in center panel.

Thankyou Lat9

I looked at latest myDEBUG-*.log, and it contained the following.
Does this help me identify the problem. I'm not that familiar with this level of management.
Thanking you in anticipation!

Re: Sub categories not displaying in center panel.

OK Solution Found

Problem has found a temporary solution.
The I.Service Provider up graded serer to PHP 7.1, and ZC 1.5.5 is matched to 7.0.

When the PHP version was downgraded to 7.0, the function display subcategories was reinstated.

Obviously the site is increasingly out of date, so needs to be upgraded to later version of ZC. to maintain stability and security.

Thankyou LAT9 for your response and initiating help.

FWIW, the problem was tracked and solved using CHATGPT.!!!
That's quite incredible to me, that it should be able to solve a ZC issue.
