Error when customer inputs "$5.00" in "Apply Amount" for Gift Certificate
ZC v. 2.2.2
A customer entered a dollar sign in front of the amount in the "Apply Amount" field for a gift certificate during checkout. This produced an error in the payment module:
Uncaught TypeError: number_format(): Argument #1 ($num) must be of type float, string given in .../includes/modules/order_total/ot_gv.php
I did a hack fix, but hope someone more knowledgeable about how inputs are handled can fix it the right way.
