Upcoming Products issue

Upcoming Products is not working when you upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2. I believe it supposed to show up on Home Page and empty cart.

its when you upgrade to version 2.2.2 is the issue

its when you upgrade to version 2.2.2 is the issue

I figured it out. Just put an upcoming date in the back end. Now it appears just fine
