Override template does not control the ste

Version 2.1
I have created a template based on the responsive classic and named it 'rctcustom' and set as default.
However, when I edit the files in the rctcustom folders,, the web page does not pick up the edits, but still delivers responsive classic files.
The development site is
https://rarecoinsandtokens.co.uk/test222.rarecoinsandtokens.co.uk/

Would appreciate advise on where the problem might reside thankyou.

Re: Override template does not control the ste

Another reason the missing Posting Tips would be nice to have back.

By entering a working URL, its address made 100 laps around the world in the first minute it was posted.

It's amazing how quickly a URL posted on the forum will get into the hands of script kiddies.

SO... All your site resources have been used up. If you change the URL and get the resources back, use something like DOT for the .'s in a URL. yoursiteDOTcom.

Most of us are smart enough to figure it out and the script kiddies won't get notified. 😛

Thanks for the heads up... will the existence of the full address now permanently function as an advert for malicious attention? Do you know if that is so, can the original post be edited to change the vulnerability?
Thanks for any advice you can give on this.

Re: Override template does not control the ste

I have forged ahead with the development by setting Responsive Classic as the currrent default template. I appreciate that editing 'core' files is discouraged due to potential loss of edits when the next upgrade is undertaken. I intend to set up the necessary overrides in the rctcustom template before that happens.
