Attribute-Copying Options

Is there a way to only copy certain Options instead of having to copy all values.

As an example, if a product has both size and color options:

Size - S, M, L, XL
Color - Green, Blue, Red

Is there a way of copying only the color values to other products instead of both size and color?

There are various ways of doing attribute copies.

On the Categories/Products is a global copier as well as in the Attributes Controller.

You can also use this to create a "template product" with just the attributes you want to copy.

Or, the Option Names Manager has several copy methods available to add Option Values.

Such as, if you only have Color Red on a product and wanted to have all the colors added to a product.

Or, if you wanted to update all products that contain at least one color to now have all colors.

Usually using a "template" product to set attributes is helpful. You only need to setup the one product then use it for all of your copying.

Later down the road there will be even more copy flexibility on the attributes added to Zen Cart.
