Viaklix Doesn't Work

I've installed the module. I've called Viaklix multiple times to make sure I am putting the correct numbers in the correct fields.

In the Zen Cart Admin side I put:

In the Merchant Account field my 10 digit Merchant Account number

In the User ID I put my ViaKlix 6 digit user.

and in the Pin Field I put my pin that is found in the Viaklix admin under the User Management tab.

Are these correct?

If so here is my next problem....when I got to checkout in test mode I enter the CC number 4111111111111111 and fill out the CVV fields with whatever and then make the exp. date anything in the future. When I confirm the payment it takes me back to the payment information page and it gives me the error:

"There has been an error processing your credit card!
Please check your credit card details!"

It never sends anything to Viaklix at all. I have no idea what the problem is. I know there is someone out there that has gotten Viaklix to work with Zen as there wouldn't be a module for it otherwise. I've looked and everyone else's problems are with redirects which means they've already gotten the test mode to work. Someone please respond to this and give me a hand.

Could it have something to do with the SSL. For some reason I have a broken lock in my URL bar. I need to fix that as well if someone could help me out, could that be causing my error.

This cc # is for checking the default ZenCart CC module - get with your processor for the particulars for testing with them

Does anyone know if ViaKlix has a perticular testing CC number?

I do not see this as a contributed module in the downloads section nor is Zen Cart listed on their site(2003) as a supported Cart????

I cannot get my transactions to post on my Viaklix terminal. It seems as if you guys were successful. Any help would be very appreciated.

As I atated this does not appear to be a contributed solution.
If one does not contribute their solution, then it is not appear in the downloads section.

The guy who created says he has gotten it functioning and others have said they've gotten past the point where I am. They've said they have gotten the transaction to post on the gateway side, the only problems they were having was on redirection to the receipt. I wonder if it is because I have an updated Zen cart and this only works with older versions. They have an OScommerce contribution for Viaklix and that seems to work for people. This guy just editing that one to make it work on Zen Cart. Yes, I've tried contacting them and writing new posts.

Have you had any luck with this module? I am trying to set it up too and have not had any luck. I just get returned an error that reads

"There has been an error processing your credit card!
Please check your credit card details!"

And it doesn't matter what credit card I use.

One thing I did notice is that the form had an action of https://www2.viaKLIX.com/process.asp in the module and the viaKlix documentation had https://www.viaKLIX.com/process.asp.

I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Ok, I just got in; (home); got it downloaded and I'm uploading it now to my own site. I'll know more in a minute.

What test card number are you using? I'm assuming by test you mean 'fake'

I've got it installed; running some tests; at first glance mine is not working either; however I have one advantage that most don't . . . :wink:

I've been wanting to make a Klix module; I guess this is a good place to start. After I get it done I'll be making a VirtualMerchant module; don't ask how I know this . . . :wink:

Let me work on their code; I'll see what I can figure out. I edited the code to show form; even tried to change where the post was sent . . . didn't even phase it.

I was using Visa 4111111111111111. I don't know where I saw to use that, but I read it somewhere.

ok, i've got mine set to demo mode; i went into the file and change the url from https://www2.viaklix.com/process.asp to https://demo.viaklix.com/process.asp

only do this if you have a true demo account, i already had one set up to test against. you could also use https://www2.viaklix.com/test_tran.asp This will give you a set of key value pairs that will let you know what klix is hearing.

so I changed mine; never got that screen, just got redirected back.

Does anyone know if there were any changes in the payment module layout\operation between 1.3 to 1.3.7?

now i'm getting something odd though, i'm getting order confirmation emails; which means the info is getting to Klix; . . . i think the issue is their handling of the response values

Did any of your transactions show up in Klix? I'm getting my confirmation emails from Klix; and the trans are showing up in the virtual terminal as unsettled transactions which is what I would expect from a successful transaction. But I'm NOT getting any confirmation from ZenCart nor is it showing the order as approved. So the problem is occuring on the return trip.
