Please help me get my store name on the home page !

I CAN DO EVERYTHING BUT GET MY NAME ON THE HEADER OF THE HOME PAGE - CAN ANYONE TELL ME STEP BY STEP WHAT TO DO ? I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT DIRECTIONS ZENCART GIVES US ON THERE FAQ PAGE - WHAT IS THE CATEGORY SELECTION I GO TO FIRST ? TOOL ? HELP ME BY TELLING ME STEP BY STEP HOW TO GET MY NAME OF MY BUSINESS IN THE TOP HEADER OF MY HOME PAGE IN SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND DIRECTIONS - THANKS, LEON

where exactly do you want the name? link to your site?

The "sales message goes here" - is the big bold header wording on the home page - i would like to remove it and add my store name so everyone can see that they made it to my personal named store - i have tried every way to find the hmlt to change it - where is it ? Thank you for your time ! Leon

I just clicked on the "Tutorials/FAQ" link at the top of the page and in the search box typed "sales message", and the first result in the search was this article which answers your question: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=127

You'll need your FTP program and a reliable text editor like Notepad++ to download the file, make the edits, and upload your changes to the appropriate override folders.

The zencart home page is where i am at - i can do everything but get the "sales message goes here" off the screen - i need to put our store name in place of the message -

Instead of downloading and all that stuff - there is a normal zencart procedure that we are supposed to follow - using the tools i guess - to simply change the name - where is the tool i need to drop - and what is the name of the selection i need to click on to change the "sales message goes here" wording -

There is no way of changing that part except how the tutorial tells you

how do i get started ? Where do i go first on my green bar of admin tools ? Catalog ? Configuration ? Tools ?
I need to know where to start - then what do i click on in the subject bar ?

It CANNOT be done from the green admin bar
you need to down load the header.php and edit it where the tutorial tells you
