Customer cant edit attributes after add to cart?

Im using text attributes to collect some information like greeting message and delivery date (for flower shop)

Often customers change what they want to put in there and after adding to cart click back button and get to the my account stage. It doesnt take them back to the cart (problem 1)

Second - they cant edit what they put in there. They would have to delete the product from the cart and re-add the information by which time they are totally .. off and just leave

Any solutions?

It would of course be better to collect this information on the login page which comes after the product information page but ive yet to see a way to do this. Otherwise i have to collect it on the checkout page (notes to seller or whatever its called) not ideal at all.


Isnt there some kind of shopping cart where i can get ALL the information on just the one page. Im sure this would double sales volume

You could try the "Edit Cart" plugin: http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=558

It looks like it might do the trick (I haven't used it) ...
