Default Buy 5 get 1 free?

    Hello everyone,

One client of mine is asking me to get up one of his products as followed:

    • buy 5 get 1 free
    • buy 10 get 3 free
How do I do that? Is it possible?

I have looked at "Quantity Discounts" but it doesn't seem to be the right one either.. Or am I missing something?

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

You should be able to set quantity discounts. Rather than setting it as buy 5 get 1 free, you would have to set it up as buy 5 and each one is $x. You can calculate it so that it is the same deal.

    This statement is false.

"Buy <m> get <n> free" (for arbitrary m,n) is a completely different calculation than "Buy <q>, get all at a reduced rate," unless of course you constrain q.
