Can I have a separate background for product listings?

I have a background for the front main page content but can I have a different background that shows up with the products listings?

Thanks Misty but I am still kinda lost.

Here are some images of the way I want it to look back1.jpg is the way I want the background to look when its on the front page only and then back2.jpg is the way that I want it to look on every other product page and check out pages.

Achieved via different stylesheets for each page/s concerned...
as outlined in thread quoted in my previous post above.

You would want per-page stylesheets for this, since all the categories are included in your desired scope.
Something like

index.css
checkout_shipping.css
checkout_success.css
etc.

And if you don't want the homepage to have the listing styling, you would need to include in index.css

#indexHomeBody #yourElement {whatever-property: standard-value;}

Can I have a stylesheet for the index page and another for the rest of the site that way I only have 2 style sheets?

If the only distinction you need is between homepage and the rest, you can use a stylesheet named index_home.css. I forgot about that one when writing the previous post.

Once again thank you for your input but I am lost. So I make a new stylesheet for home but what do i put on it and where do I save it. Also how does the index page call this stylesheet. Trust me I need a lot of help thanks.

Don't have link to your zencart site, so am presuming you have template, which has stylesheet...
so you create copy of that BUT alter where you require different background image,
name that extra stylesheet index_home.css and upload to same folder
as existing stylesheet for your current template..
