Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
Hi Zenners, Links Manger 3-5-3c on my 1.3.9h has been working great and driving heaps of traffic to my website. Great mod Clyde.
Now i'm setting up a new store on zencart 1.5 and trying to use the same Links Manger 3-5-3c which is recommend for 1.3.9. Everything seem to be working fine, except there are no option in for Links Manger in Admin menus.
I'm trying to search in the threads for any similar ways to add links to Admin menu. not success yet :huh:
Meanwhile i see some of you are using this mod with Zencart 1.5 and can't find the functions in Admin menus.
These are what i use currently before Clyde new version coming out.
Log in to your admin and open a new browser and follow these links below: (remember to leave your current login active while using new browser)
replace
yourdomain.com/your_admin/ to the one you are using.
Links
yourdomain.com/your_admin/links.php
Links Catergories
yourdomain.com/your_admin/link_categories.php
Links Contacts
yourdomain.com/your_admin/links_contact.php
Hope this help. please reply if you're able to find way to add these links in Admin menu and this mod should be as good as it is in 1.3.9
Cheers!

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
I have submitted a question about linksmanager. I have a website and we have more than 400 links. Recently we cannot display any links in the categories. Could you please tell us what could be causing this problem.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
Could anyone please help me with the problem we are experiencing.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Does this addon work with 1.5 and if so the installation directions are a bit vaugue unless your supposed to ftp to each individual folder (public_html/includes/ and so on) or is this a new directory?

Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Hi. I incurred a problem where Google Analytics stopped being visible on my bilingual website after I installed the Link Manager module. I did not think the module would be the cause, but my single language website still shows the Simple Google Analytics code, whereas the GA code has totally disappeared from "view source" on the bilingual website.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the module, and then adding the Spanish language files that I had previously just skipped. Apparently, the website really doesn't work without adding the language files if the site is bilingual.
I need to read this thread to see how to get the links to work in the Spanish portion of the site, but I am posting the Google Analytics question now in case someone might have some insight into the GA disappearance problem.
My site is www.g o k a r a o k e m a c h i n e.com (without the spaces). Thanks for any comments.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Hi. I solved my Simple Google Analytics disappearance by an uninstallation and reinstallation of the Simple Google Analytics module. I do not know why GA just stopped working, but possibly it had been installed in the prior version of PHP and now that we have PHP 5.1, and I had to change the TYPE=MyISAM to ENGINE=MyISAM to accommodate the verbiage change in PHP 5.1, when installing the Link Manager, perhaps that created some kind of conflict in the MySQL database.
Well, at least my site is up and running again, and the Link Manager second language files are now fully installed in the course of trying to sort out the GA problems.
I hope this thought helps someone in the Link Manager forum and the discussion has not been too much of a digression or repetition of the Simple GA module's train of investigation.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to make this mod work for zc version 1.5, I've read many pages of this support thread and I believe there are some who have been able to achieve this. So i tried installing the mod myself, I downloaded the latest version of the mod, succeeded in running the .sql install script and uploaded all the necessary folders (after renaming YOUR_TEMPLATE folders), then activated the sidebox in my admin. The problem is that the sidebox will not appear on my site, and in my admin the Links Manager link under 'Configuration' and the other links which are supposed to be found under 'Extras' do not appear either. I do see the links.php, link_categories.php and links_contact.php pages in my browser when navigating there (as someone has suggested), but I would like to access those pages via the admin links and have the sidebox appear on my site. Is there a way of solving this issue? It would really be great if someone could upgrade this mod for zc 1.5 as Mr. Clyde Jones worked so much on this wonderful add-on and it is surely a very useful tool... I would try and do that myself if I knew how to code things... :P
www.triskilian.com
ZC Version: 1.5.0
PHP Version: 5.2.17
MySQL: 5.5.30
add-ons installed:
backup_zc_v1
ckeditor_plugin_for_zen_cart_3-6
jScroller Sidebox Package
login_box_v1-6
Shopping Cart with Image Sidebox
zen_lightbox-v1.6.4_1.20120428
Image Handler 4
Sitemap XML
Thanks a lot!

Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Update: apparently the sidebox has appeared on my site, but only in the English version of it, not the Italian (my site has 2 languages), and it's strange because I did copy all the language files to my Italian folders... there must be something I'm missing here... perhaps that something is obvious and I can't seem to think straight at the moment...
-
Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Update 2: Solved, I simply added a new category in the link_categories.php via the admin and the sidebox finally appeared on the Italian version of the site :D... as there was only one category added by default in the mod ("Zen Cart Development" with a link to Mr. Clyde Jones' site) and it was not showing in my italian admin. Still hoping someone will come up with an idea on how to make the Links Manager links appear in the admin panel. Cheers.

Is it just the Links Manager area under configuration that you are lacking or do you still need to gain the controls that are in the 'Extras' menu as well?

I would like to know how to add the Links Manager links to admin as well.
I've been using the mod since I moved to 1.50 by logging into the store admin and then in another browser tab typing in:
https://your-domain.com/your-admin/links.php
https://your-domain.com/your-admin/link_categories.php
Hope this helps you out.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Picandnix, yes, I needed to gain the controls that are in the 'Extras' menu as well, but I managed to solve that, DivaVocal's link was very helpful - thanks Diva! - so, if this can help gxjenkins or anyone else, here's how I added the 3 items to the 'Extras' section in the admin panel:
admin-> admin access management-> admin page registration (tool available only for zc 1.5.x, as I read somewhere)... a page with a form to compile will appear. I compiled the form as follows:
for Links:
Page Key= links
Page Name= BOX_LINKS
Page Filename= FILENAME_LINKS
Page Parameters= leave blank
Menu= select 'Extras' from the dropdown
Display on Menu?= check the display box
Sort Order= 6 (or whatever order number you would like to assign to this item)
... then press 'insert'
for Link Categories:
Page Key= linkcategories
Page Name= BOX_LINK_CATEGORIES
Page Filename= FILENAME_LINK_CATEGORIES
Page Parameters= leave blank
Menu= select 'Extras' from the dropdown
Display on Menu?= check the display box
Sort Order= 7 (or whatever order number you would like to assign to this item)
... then press 'insert'
for Links Contact:
Page Key= linkscontact
Page Name= BOX_LINKS_CONTACT
Page Filename= FILENAME_LINKS_CONTACT
Page Parameters= leave blank
Menu= select 'Extras' from the dropdown
Display on Menu?= check the display box
Sort Order= 8 (or whatever order number you would like to assign to this item)
... then press 'insert'
Now I have all 3 links in the 'Extras' section of the admin. However, still could not solve for the Links Manager link under the 'Configuration' section, the only admin Links Manager files I found in the mod's folder are these:
admin/includes/extra_datafiles/links_manager.php
admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/links_manager.php
... and there are no defines in there for Page Name and Page Filename... could these be created in some way or added perhaps to the existing files?

Same way you add ANY admin menu item.. Go back to the link I posted (HINT: it includes a link to the source of the FAQ where more will be revealed).. The configuration menu is SLIGHTLY different (the parameter requirements are different)

Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
YES!! Thanks for your hint DivaVocals, the Links Manager link is finally showing under the Configuration section of my admin! :clap:
To sum things up, and as lat9 says, I created a file called links_manager.php in which I inserted the following:
<?php
define('BOX_LINKS_MANAGER', 'Links Manager');
//EOF
... and uploaded via FTP to admin/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/links_manager.php.
Then went back to the admin page registration:
for Links Manager:
Page Key= linksmanagerconfiguration
Page Name= BOX_LINKS_MANAGER
Page Filename= FILENAME_CONFIGURATION
Page Parameters= gID=41 (your_domain.com/admin/configuration.php?gID=xx <-- type this address into your browser and keep changing the gID number until you find your Links Manager page)
Menu= select 'Configuration' from the dropdown
Display on Menu?= check the display box
Sort Order= 28 (or whatever order number you would like to assign to this item)
... then press 'insert'
... and that's it, everything is now showing like it should. Thank you so much for all your help! :thumbsup:

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread - Please Help!!
Hi everyone..I'm hoping someone can help. I installed the links manager to my latest zen 1.5 version. Actually this is my second attempt at installing...First time around I needed the links in the admin to show for the links configuration, etc..but I decided to uninstall it because I couldn't find an answer anywhere in the forum on how to add them. But somehow I did another search today and was surprised I finally found the recent thread on how to do it and so I re installed the links manager. Ok...the problem I'm having is now I can't add any categories. When I click on the new category button to add, there are no field boxes next to the category title or the description. I've been going crazy trying to figure out why the boxes are missing as this did not happen in my first install...Can someone please help?? Is there anything I can do to add the field boxes in so I can type my category and category description in? Thanks so much. Any help is very much appreciated. :smile:
Regards,
Julianna

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread - Please Help!!
So I've been messing around with this, and discovered something I found odd.. When viewing a specific link category page (http://yoursite.com/index.php?main_page=links&lPath=2), the "Back" button takes you back to the page you were viewing BEFORE you went to the links page..
I found that odd since I would expect that when clicking the back button from the specific links category, I woud be returned to the links homepage.(http://yoursite.com/index.php?main_page=links)
So I made the following change around line 17 of the /includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_links_default.php file.
From:
Code:
<div class="buttonRow"><?php echo zen_back_link() . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_BACK, BUTTON_BACK_ALT) . '</a>'; ?></div>
To:
Code:
<div class="buttonRow back"><?php echo '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_LINKS) . '">' . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_BACK, BUTTON_BACK_ALT) .'</a>'; ?></div>
This returns you to the links homepage (http://yoursite.com/index.php?main_page=links) as one would expect.

from admin -> extras -> links categories
You have two choices
1) similar to the above you only need to use (link_category/clothing.png) Again, the image need to be located on you server in images/link_category/
2) You can use the browse button to select an image from your PC and then click the save button.
So found this old post from Clyde..
My question is has anybody been able to add the second option above to the links entry page (admin>extras> links)? I would rather have BOTH options for entering link "banner images".. This way my client doesn't HAVE TO FTP the links "banner" images..

Thank you very much, Moksha and Diva Vocals. A potentially faster way to achieve the above quoted step is to find the id number in the database either using phpAdmin or with the following SQL statement:
Code:
SELECT *
FROM `your_zc_database`.`configuration_group`
WHERE (`configuration_group_title` LIKE '%link%')
LIMIT 0 , 30
I wonder what it would take to update the plugin so that it would self-register.
-
Re: Link Manager 3.0 release
Also in case it wasn't clear - data that needs to be inserted into the Configuration field includes gID=XX, not just the number.
-
Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
I'm having trouble installing the SQL file because my server is still using MySQL version 5.5, which does not allow the following statement:
Code:
CREATE TABLE links (
`links_id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
`links_url` varchar(255) default NULL,
`links_reciprocal_url` varchar(255) default NULL,
`links_image_url` varchar(255) default NULL,
`links_contact_name` varchar(64) default NULL,
`links_contact_email` varchar(96) default NULL,
`links_date_added` datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00',
`links_last_modified` datetime default NULL,
`links_status` tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '1',
`links_clicked` int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
PRIMARY KEY (`links_id`),
KEY `idx_links_date_added` (`links_date_added`)
) TYPE=MyISAM ;
and specifically
Code:
`links_date_added` datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00',
.
The error being that the default value is invalid. Apparently in the latest version of MySQL the DATETIME is allowed.
Two recommended workaround are to use TIMESTAMP instead of DATETIME or to add TRIGGERS to the table.
I was able to use
Code:
`links_date_added` TIMESTAMP NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
but then got errors trying to add a second TIMESTAM field (links_last_modified).
I installed the table WITHOUT the links_date_added field (might not be necessary), but am getting "WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again."
Insights welcome and I will post solution, of course.
-
Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
Okay seems to be working now. The MySQL statement that will not work under MySQL 5.5.x is the CREATE TABLE links statement which I beleve can be replaced with:
Code:
DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `links`;
CREATE TABLE links (
`links_id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
`links_url` varchar(255) default NULL,
`links_reciprocal_url` varchar(255) default NULL,
`links_image_url` varchar(255) default NULL,
`links_contact_name` varchar(64) default NULL,
`links_contact_email` varchar(96) default NULL,
`links_date_added` TIMESTAMP NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
`links_last_modified` TIMESTAMP,
`links_status` tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '1',
`links_clicked` int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
PRIMARY KEY (`links_id`),
KEY `idx_links_date_added` (`links_date_added`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM ;
Differences: updated the DATETIME statements to replace with TIMESTAMP and updated TYPE=MyISAM to ENGINE=MyISAM.
TIMESTAMP has some limitations, but they should not be a problem in this application (unless you are still trying to use it in the year 2030).

Did you ever make any headway on this, DivaVocals? It also appears that at this point one can only upload "link images" via the front end link add, and not the back end.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
I'm would like Link Manager to display the list of links by category, as opposed to first displaying only the categories, then a page of the links within each category. The format I want is that for each category there will be a heading containing the Name of the Category, followed by a listing of it's associated links. In other words:
CATEGORY1
link title - link description - image
link title - link description - image
link title - link description - image
CATEGORY2
link title - link description - image
ETC
I think this will require some new coding in the tpl_links_default page and will require a multi-table SQL query - like a JOIN (inner, outer, left?).
There are four relevant tables (i think):
1. link_categories_description which contains link_categories_name
2. links which contains the link url and image url
3. links_to_link_categories which associates link_ids with link_categories_id
4. links_description which contains links_description
I welcome any pointers (towards or away from). :smile:

I did a install on a clean ZC1.5.2 test site.
This version of XAMPP includes:

- MySQL 5.6.12
- PHP 5.5.0
Linkmanager really needs to be reworked for easer install and link click recording.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
OK... sent up an updated mod... didn't have an old 1.3.x ZC anywhere to test, so not sure it works below 1.5.1 and PHP 5.4....
trying something new, a sql installer. work good on my test and active sites...
----------------------
New to this version;
An admin installer page!
New to the code is the ability to block URL's from submitting. Status 'Blocked' will check URL against existing databased URL's when submitted. Blocked URL's will not be displayed and treated the same as Pending. I have plans on making the block smarter, but right now it's just a dumb exist match test. Will be changing to a domain match when I get time.
New sidebox. this one displays only the link image at 150px x 30px of all links to total number set in the configure section. With an added space
for you to insert paid links or ads so on.
------------------------------
Updated;
*fixed Admin link page image upload
*fixed click counts
*fixed click counter with on/off switch
*fixed changed use from mysql_ to ZC $db_ should be PHP 5.4 to 5.5 ready (tested on PHP 5.5.3 and 5.4.26 with ZC 1.5.1 and 1.5.2)
:shocking:

New sidebox. this one displays only the link image at 150px x 30px of all links to total number set in the configure section. With an added space
for you to insert paid links or ads so on.
------------------------------
Updated;
*fixed Admin link page image upload
*fixed click counts
*fixed click counter with on/off switch
*fixed changed use from mysql_ to ZC $db_ should be PHP 5.4 to 5.5 ready (tested on PHP 5.5.3 and 5.4.26 with ZC 1.5.1 and 1.5.2)
:shocking:
Where can I download your updated version until zen cart approves it.... :)

Not unless you post the errors that are in your error log.. this will help FIX (versus SKIP) the auto-installer..

Yes I know. When Cowoa was first installed a good while back it installed a high! config groups number 8687 so it went from there.
This is a brand new install.

Except that's just it.. can't "fix" unless the issue can be recreated..

I can understand that Diva. I like using the old installers better. I could at list see what was installed and what wasn't so I could play around with the installer code and fix it. I really don't know much about these self auto installer...... :-)

Not that different except the SQL is executed from a PHP file.. If you understand SQL and a little bit of PHP, they are not that difficult to understand/troubleshoot/fix..
My point was that if you throw in the towel the problem will not be addressed.. needs to be something that can be replicated or you need to provide error messages/logs so that the issue can be addressed.. throwing in the towel on the troubleshooting process means that the issue will not be addressed for a while.. It's easier to fix the issue if you can report on what you're seeing when the other person is not able to replicate your issue..

I think I already supplied the error logs file messages and the process I took that created the errors. I haven't thrown in the towel but I have other projects to take care of before I can get back to this and fix the installer issues.. That what I was trying to say. Yes I do understand SQL and some PHP but I really haven't took the time to look at the install_links_manager.php file but I will.
The site database does use the zen_ prefix. That might be why it throws these 2 errors when clicking on admin/extra/Links and Links categories don't know yet..

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
OK so I had a little more time to check this out. Never could get this to install from a clean install. It had errors as describe above.
I did get it installed but had to download links manager version 1.3.9.
I uploaded all files from links manager 3.6.0, and used the install_links_manager.sql script from links manager version 1.3.9.
After that I run the install_links_manager.php script and it updated the database perfect without any errors. Everything works perfectly.
I'm kinda stump why.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
OK... been out working... just finshed checking this out.
The installer is an attemp at catching possible errors and fixing them. however, ZC catches errors itself and puts out the message to refresh the page which compounds the errors! I do have a error in the code that plays funny, sometimes it works, sometime not... so to fix it I changed it too read..
Code:
/**************** update status if needed *****************/
// $check_status = ;
$check_result = $db->Execute("SELECT links_status_name FROM ".$db_prefix.$table_name3." WHERE links_status_name = 'Blocked'");
if ($check_result->fields['links_status_name'] == '') { //fixed 6/29/2014
$db->Execute("INSERT INTO ".$db_prefix.$table_name3." VALUES (3, 1, 'Blocked')"); //links_status
echo 'Table ' . $table_name3 .' updated with Blocked!<br />';
}
The first time the waring came up I couldn't get it to reproduce even messing up my database so I put in another catch to stop the install if the database shows to many links manager groups...
so.. updated the installer and created a sql page.. tested them both and they work for me.
I updated the full package on my site, will send an update here when I see what else needs fixing or I get some more of what I want done.

I asked Diva and she basically said the same thing so we decided against link reciprocal and will only approve links that has useful link information that will help a customer find what they need.

and honestly the reciprical linking Google is targeting is that stupid kind of linking where you have links to your favorite aunt's pet grooming site on your scuba gear shop because you're trying to "help your aunt out".. or worse a bunch of silly links to sites that have NOTHING to do with the primary business of the site in exchange for them adding you to their own equally dumba$$ed links page.. crap SEO strategy..

I haven't had time but I'm in the process of upgrading Link Manager for ZC1.5.5 now. The link listing needs to be upgraded yet and the form tables need modified for the responsive designs.
-
Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
Submitted an update. I had to make allot of changes to the code so that the old method linkListingBox::tableBox() is no longer used. Spent some time trying to get tabular display and Columnar Display to work, but in the end I had to write the code for each instead of using the existing system.
With that, there some new configure settings and many other changes. The code remains independent from any core files so installing is still simply replace all and if you already have 3.6.x installed, don't upload the auto loader. From the Links page you will see a new button 'check for updates' click it and it does a check for updates on ZC, but when it fines that the new init_links_manager is 3.7.0, it will reinstall the updated configures without deleting any existing table entries.
The new Columnar and tabular display is responsive already, but displays just fine in a non-responsive template. The code is running live on my site, but the forms are not the same.. the same code that I submitted is also on my GitHub page and blog.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
Submitted an update to fix a bug. Or something that showed up in my working version.
The delete link confirmation box was by passed, same with the link check. Minor change to make sue it works as expected.
in links.php around line 703, add the red section.
Code:
} elseif ($action == '' || $action == 'check' || $action == 'confirm') {

What I actually wanted to ask was if I can use Links Manager 3.7.0 for links to sites that are of interest to our customers, i.e. magazines that have articles or museeums that have objects that relate to our product lines without necessarily having any links back from them. This since I have not found any easy way within ZenCart to do this.
You can add links from the admin page to anyone you wish. Doing this still allows link manager to track clicks. You can also hand enter links/ads with in the sidebox by editing, adding links where it says.
//other ads can go here
Back links are not required.

Did you add the extension to maximum Values, Allowed Filename Extensions for uploading... manage the size in settings! Link Manager does not manage uploads, ZC does.
Turning off/on submit is working for me so I'll need more hints ... I'm up to version 4 so I missed uploading somewhere... well check..

Thanks for the pointer, Ive added webp to the list. Odd tho, Ive been able to upload webp images with zc, but with link manager was the 1st time it threw an error. Oh well.
Im using version 3.7.0 of links manager.
Here's a link to a live example: http://mangatakeout.com/index.php?lP...ain_page=links
The submit link is removed from the sidebox, but on the links page, its there as a button.
thanks!

Looking at the rendered html.. it's completely different then what it should be.. check to see if the page was fully uploaded and not changed.
The button code is
Code:
<br class="clearBoth" />
<?php if (BOX_DISPLAY_SUBMIT_LINK == 'true') { ?>

Okay, the problem is in tpl_links_default.php line 118. It has the following code:
Code:
<br class="clearBoth" />
<div class="forward"><?php echo '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_LINKS_SUBMIT, zen_get_all_get_params()) . '">' . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_SUBMIT_LINK, BUTTON_SUBMIT_LINK_ALT) . '</a>'; ?></div>
<div class="buttonRow back"><?php echo zen_back_link() . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_BACK, BUTTON_BACK_ALT) .'</a>'; ?></div>
<br class="clearBoth" />
swapping the above code for the code you supplied fixed my problem. For those clicking on my live link listed previously, you will not see the problem since its now been fixed.
Is this plugin hosted on github? Do you want me to submit the edited tpl_links_default.php for merging?

I did find some issues between my code and what was uploaded... So I redesigned it all... just sent in version 4 based on PHP 7.3 to 7.3.7 and ZC 1.5.6 to 1.5.7
As before, if you don't have a approved link, the sidebox well not get displayed so I added one back to my site in the installer for that reason, but you don't need to keep it.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
When someone submits a link, where does the submission go? I can't find submission info from a submission.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
additionally.... this verbiage:
Your link has been successfully submitted! It will be added to our listing as soon as we approve it.
You will receive an email confirming your submittal. If you have not received it within the hour, please contact us. [FONT=-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, Segoe UI, Roboto, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Noto Sans, sans-serif, Apple Color Emoji, Segoe UI Emoji, Segoe UI Symbol, Noto Color Emoji]Also, you will receive an email as soon as your link is approved.[/FONT]
[FONT=-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, Segoe UI, Roboto, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Noto Sans, sans-serif, Apple Color Emoji, Segoe UI Emoji, Segoe UI Symbol, Noto Color Emoji]The submitter isn't receiving an email, nor are we. Does this need to be configured somewhere? I can manually enter the link and get it to display, but how are we notified that a link has been submitted? and then, where do we find the submission?[/FONT]

admin is from Extras -- Links
Links Manager definitions can be you or my... you can change definitions... We not use fonts to definitions, should css for the templates.
The submits used in sidebox with links and others... if you don't for sidebox, create your one links.
from sidebox links
Code:
if (BOX_DISPLAY_VIEW_ALL_LINKS == 'true') {
$content .= '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_LINKS, '', 'NONSSL') . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_VIEW_ALL_LINKS . '</a><br />';
}
if (BOX_DISPLAY_SUBMIT_LINK == 'true') {
$content .= '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_LINKS_SUBMIT, '', 'SSL') . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_LINKS_SUBMIT . '</a>';
}

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread
When someone is filling out the submission form, it is NOT sending out an email or storing the submission anywhere.
I have confirmed all files of version 4.0 on 1.5.7c are properly installed and present. From Extras>Links Contact, I sent a test email to a manually added link recipient. The Subject was TEST and the body was TEST, here is what was received and I received an error log:

Dave,
When someone SUBMITS a link. The Link mod is NOT emailing the submission or reporting the submission to the cart. There is NO way of knowing if someone is submitting a link.
When someone submits a link, this text is displayed to the submitter "Your link has been successfully submitted! It will be added to our listing as soon as we approve it.
You will receive an email confirming your submittal. If you have not received it within the hour, please contact us. Also, you will receive an email as soon as your link is approved."
Where is the submission information supposed to go?
