Does anyone know if this mod works with product - book? Does it load the ISBN, ISBN13 and other book information?
Thanks, Kim

Kim, I am not sure about the ISBN information.
But here is what it shows on the Google Merchant site (speaking just for me)
Item URL
Details
Price: $ 11.00
brand: ? (for some reason my shop name shows up)
condition: used
product type: Tops
payment notes: GoogleCheckout
Contact information at the bottom.
The feeds generated only show the links to your store.
Hope that helps

Thanks
{EDIT}
I just checked the XML file by manually downloading it and opening it and the data is there, but when I try to open it in Tools > Google Base Feeder > View Your Product Feed - no data appears.
This is what has worked for me....
Before you make any changes to google_base.php do the complete install including the sql.
1. Configure the feeder (configuration/google feeder)
If you just opened a google merchant account::give it some time to activate. Make sure all the configurations are correct; like username & pw.
2. Tools/Create Product Feed
It will look something like this:
Google Base Feeder v1.7.4 started 2010/01/13 13:15:06
Feed file - /home/xxxx/public_html/shop/feed/domain_products.xml
Processing: Feed - Yes, Upload - No
Google Base File Complete In 0.763691 Seconds 277 Records
3. Below the Create Product Feed is this line:
NOTE: You may view your product feed file before proceeding to step 2. Click on view. It should produce your feeds.
4. 5th line down is:
Upload Product Feed: Click [HERE] to upload products feed to Google Base.
Now, Google does not work that fast. Personally, I would install the feeder do all steps wait a bit and then do the final upload. Again, that's just my opinion. You may get a fail in uploading. Don't panic. Try it again in a few hours.
Now here are a few tips that I have experienced. Again, this is just me. Watch the CAPS in the title. Google told me to fix that.
If you are using inches " in your description you need to change that too otherwise it displays very alien and you will get kicked back from google.
Hope that helps!

Hi,
I managed to do it, I turned on debugging and it tells me that the data is being written, for some reason in Zen Cart I just cant seem to view it, but it is there. I have also managed to upload it via Zen Cart no problem. My only problem now remains that the feed seems to be unrecognisable to Google Base, I keep getting an 'XML Formatting Error' as reported in my Google Base account.
Any ideas why, have I missed some setting somewhere in Zen Cart or my GB account?
Thank you for the reply, always appreciated :)

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Hi, I found what was causing the errors. I had setup the payments wrong and in the content I was using the words 'Free Shipping', which apparently you are not allowed to use. I was testing this and it is now coming up 17 or 17 inserted (although I get a few warnings about expriration - which I am researching now).
On the topic of expriration, it is currently set to 365 days in Zen Cart. Apparently Base products expire after 30 days right? So should I set it to 30 days in Zen Cart to remove the warnings? If I remove those warnings I have no errors or warnings whatsoever, then I can build on my feed. I am going to be constantly refreshing my feed probably once a week anyway.
A couple of other questions. How long until these products within the feed to become active? And is there a way of optimizing a feed or does this great module already take care of the SEO side of it?
Thanks
Terry

Terry...so it seems to be going in the right direction! :clap:
I get the expiration thingy too and my feeds seem to be okay.
It takes a couple of days for the feeds to become active..at least that is my experience.
You need to check your Google Merchant Dashboard. It will show everything...active products...etc...patience with Google is the key here.
Also, if you use quotations of any kind that will be kicked back by Google.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Terry, how are setting the expiration in Zen Cart?
Also, free shipping is kinda tricky with Google Feeder. I kinda adjustment mine because I got kicked back too.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
I would like to change the details within the sql to fit my needs.
For example, it reads this now:
Details
Price: $ 11.00
brand: ? (for some reason my shop name shows up)
condition: used
product type: Tops
payment notes: GoogleCheckout
I like the price...brand I want to change...condition I was to change...product type I want to change.....
:clap: waving to numinix for help :clap:
or if anyone else knows that would be great too.
I would like it more personalized to my store.
-
Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Go to 'Google Base Feeder Configuration' and 11 options down you see it says 'Expiration Date Adjust'? It is set to 365, so after reading Googles guidelines realised that feeds expire after 30 days if not refreshed. So I changed it to 30 and all of the warning messages disappeared. I was going to update the feed every 2 weeks anyway as I am going to be constantly working on my new site as it is going to be a big one :/
At the moment I am planning how to change my content so products dont get removed. I think I have it figured out to keep both Googles natural listings (serps) and Google base both happy, unfortunatly the products I am promoting require similar descriptions so I have to be careful about duplicate content :)
With regards to your problem, have you tried making a few alterations within the Google Base Feeder Config under 'configuration' in your admin section? Thats where I am stripping down most of the data so mostly content will show in Google Base.
Numinix, a question for you...
Compressing the feed file option in 'Google Base Feeder Configuration', how does that work exactly? Does it strip down data within the feed itself or is it a zip compression to enable a quicker download/upload for bigger feeds?
Nice work on the module by the way, thanks :)

Kim, just a thought. But you may need to change the sql to pick up the ISBN numbers or may hack that barcode and change to your needed info.
Again, I am just a novice but wanted to suggest those two ideas to you.

Once you install and add all your UPC's, then you can use them as the offer ID or by them self, with a simple click in the admin googlebase feeder settings.
The code looks like it may be looking for the auction mod as will so you may have to install it too.
Can I add to these files ISBN-13 and load? For books and non-books, I need ISBN, ISBN-13 and UPC.

In am trying get this mod to load UPC, ISBN and ISBN13 details to Google. I am using sql 1.7.3a and pulled 1.4.3 sql. I loaded this sql.

ALTER TABLE products ADD products_isbn varchar(32) NULL default NULL after products_upc;
ALTER TABLE products ADD products_isbn13 varchar(32) NULL default NULL after products_isbn;

(NULL, 'UPC', 'GOOGLE_BASE_UPC', 'false', 'Include products UPC?', @configuration_group_id, 31, NOW(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(\'true\', \'false\'),'),
(NULL, 'UPC', 'GOOGLE_BASE_ISBN', 'false', 'Include products ISBN?', @configuration_group_id, 32, NOW(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(\'true\', \'false\'),'),
(NULL, 'UPC', 'GOOGLE_BASE_ISBN13', 'false', 'Include products ISBN13?', @configuration_group_id, 33, NOW(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(\'true\', \'false\'),');
But do not see it when I go into admin/cofig/google base feeder config. Does it load automatically?

Tried searching for this, but looks like the search engine doesn't like Â
Several of my site feeds have been rejected due to format errors, finnaly downloaded Notepad++ instead of TextPad and it became immediately evident that the rejected items all had many times in the Description of the item.
Not sure why it wad there, it appears that it might be there from html description like text format codes. Bold or Font Color???
any help is appreciated, beats having to download and search and replace before manually uploading.

You can check your version under a file called numinix_version. It will tell you which version you installed.
I have the lastest and I needed to make to changes so that alien language and quotes were acceptable for google feeds.
It's google_base.php (includes/classes). Try fixing that.
Personally, I think it is best to do those two (2) fixes. Just my opinion.
Hope that helps.

You can search this thread to see if there were conflict but off the top of my head it would be really hard for me to say because I don't have the sitemap mod.
Btw, exactly how is google duplicating your items?

Processing: Feed - Yes, Upload - No
Error opening google base output file "/home/myuser/theoutletseason-www/electronics/feed/my_feed"
I tried to fix it by changing the output file name, but that only duplicated _products.xml so the end result was my_feed_products.xml_products_xml!

it duplicates them in the title - like if you search 'zen cart' and get this result -

Ah...I see what you mean...I would check
include/classes/google_base.php
Did you make any changes to it?
The second choice may be the googlefroogle.php
One of your files is duplicating the title within.
Try checking those files or upload fresh one but BACK-UP first.
Hope that helps.

You change the .xml file within the google configuration in your admin AND if you change that .xml file name you would make sure that it is changed in your google account too.
Don't change .xml file name in the google_base.php file. That's wrong.

So here's the corrected code.. (Works with version 1.7.4 of Google Base Feeder module)
- To fix double quotation (") marks in product descriptions, AND product titles. (ie: 12-14" Widget)
- To correct ampersands (&) used instead of the word "and" in product descriptions.
In \includes\classes\google_base.php around line 202 find this:
PHP Code:
$str = str_replace(array("<", ">"), array("<", ">"), $str);
Replace that line with:
PHP Code:
// $str = str_replace(array("<", ">"), array("<", ">"), $str);
// 10-01-2009 Updated line 202 to include corrections for quotation marks and ampersands in product titles and descriptions
$str = str_replace(array("<", ">", "lt;", "gt;", "quot;", """, "amp;"), array("<", ">", "<", " > ", """, "\"", "&"), $str);
I looked in that file and I see that line in two places. Do you replace both place that this shows up in the php?

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Hello,
I uploaded google base and I only have access to google in configuration. When I go to tools the google is not available. My feed file is chmod 777. Do I have to change the name of my admin file to match my other admin folder. Or do I have to put all folders in similar or like directors (admin to admin) includes to includes, etc. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't access google in tools. I'll attach the directions that came in the unzipped folder.Install
1.Unzip and upload all files to your store directory (except .sql files);
2.Chmod feed directory to 777
3.Go to Admin->Tools->Install SQL Patches and install googlefroogle.sql by copying and pasting (do not upload);
4.Go to http://base.google.com and create/sign to your account. Follow the link on the right hand side of their website to create your FTP account.
5.Go to Admin->Configuration->Google Base Configuration and setup all parameters;
6.Register your bulk upload .xml file using the same name in your Google Base Configuration at base.google.com
7.Go to Admin->Tools>Google Base Feeder and follow instructions to create, view, and upload feed file.

6.Register your bulk upload .xml file using the same name in your Google Base Configuration at base.google.com
7.Go to Admin->Tools>Google Base Feeder and follow instructions to create, view, and upload feed file.
I am not sure I understand you completely...but if you changed the name of admin folder to another name THEN you would upload the admin files to YOUR admin folder. This would the case for all add-ons just for future reference.
For example, if you renamed your admin folder to "flowers" then you would upload the admin directory (google feeder) to "flowers".
The other files that came with google base feeder would go in the appropriate folders.
Once you have upload all the files to the correct directories then you would install the sql patch.
Additionally, do you have a google merchant account?
If not, you need to register with them, create an user name & password. That username & password would then be added in YOUR google admin configuration.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Wow this is a long thread - My question to add to the growing list ;)
--
We have a client who is working with an SEO company who is highlighting the need for the URLs being send to Google to have TAGS added.
=========
"The destination URLs that are generated from the site in to XML format which is then uploaded into Google Base need to all have Analytics tagging on all the URLs.
Here is a link to the URL builder so you know how to construct URLs for analytics tagging:
- http://www.google.com/support/analyt...n&answer=55578
- Campaign Source: Google
- Campaign medium: Shopping Feed
- These are the only parameters that can be tracked in the URL but this will allow us to see the data in analytics.
=========
Any insight into whether this is possible (or is planned to be possible) with the GoogleBase module?
Thanks in advance

Why only produce 7500 products

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
I set up the Google Base Feeder as the instructions said.
When I clicked to create, it gave me the error page saying "The webpage cannot be found".
I installed and uninstalled many times, but I still get the same error.
Here is One big question (hoping I might get an answer from)
How does the .htaccess file in /includes/ directory look like ?
Mine is like:
<Files *.php>
Order Deny,Allow
Deny from all
</Files>
Is it supposed to be that way ?
Is the "Deny from all" something to do with the error ?
Thanks in advance:(

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
First what is the best mod for adding your products to google base? There is google base feeder (froogle) and there is RSS feeds.
Second, it seems like many people have trouble with this, just by looking at the 200+ pages of comments. Does it work well? I have alot of customization on my cart, will that mess things up?
Finally, I have some products in my cart for sale and other item not for sale. They are different as defined by the product type. Will the RSS feed pick up all of them or can I tell it to just pick up the ones for sale?

First, did you chmod the feed folder to 777?
I believe the file is not being created for several reasons.
1. Do you have a google merchant account?
2. Did you add your name & pw within the google configuration?
If you did all that that under Tools/Google Feeder you would view and then create.
Let me know if you need anymore help.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Hi Bridgett,
Yes, the feed folder is 777.
Even though I get the error, it always created domain_products.xml in feed dir. But it created about 1500 products only when I have more than 3000 products there.
Yes, I have a google merchant account.
and I added my name & pw within the google configuration.
I still get the same error "Paige not found"
Thanks,
Paul

This is only a suggestion. Rename the .xml file under your admin/google configuration.
If you are using CAPS...google does not like it in the title. So change that.
Are you using any type of quotations?
24" x 24"
If so, you need to change that.
Let me know the results.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Oh man!
I used the double quotations alot on the Titles and Descriptions.
It might be the problem !

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
I used many double quotations on the description (NOT for the Titles as I checked), but when I checked the domain_products.xml,
many products with the double quotations used were created.
Anyway, I still get the error like "Internet Explorer cannot display this feed", but it
still created a portion of all the products.
Then when I get the error, there is a link as "More information".
By clicking the link, I got this following message: "The following tags were not closed: rss, channel.
Line: 0 Character: 0"
So I went back to check the domain_products.xml.
The xml file started with
<rrs ....>
<cannel>
.
.
.

And ending with

Is it supposed to end with

?

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Paul, did you edit any files like google_base.php?
If you did not then ftp into your account /feed and download the files for back-up and delete them. Let's clean the feed file and start over.
Go back to admin.....Tools/Google Base Feeder
Create Product Feed:
Turn on the debug to check for errors. (Config/Google Base Feeder Configuration) set to true.
Let me know your results.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Hi Bridgett,
I haven't altered the google_base.php.
Yes, I backed up all the files in feed dir and deleted them.
When I clicked the View,
I got this error like "Internet Explorer cannot display this feed"
And when I clicked the Create, I got this error as "The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log."
I also turned on the Debug on configuration. Where should I go to see the bug ?
Any idea ?
Thanks

First, are you sure all the files have been uploaded?
It's just a guess since I am not an expert but it seems some files are missing and YOUR server is not producing any feeds because when you CREATE and the window pops up it will show you any bugs or say success.
Here is a sample of mine with the debug on:
Google Base Feeder v1.7.4 started 2010/01/28 18:13:40
Feed file - /home/mysite/public_html/mysite /feed/mysite_products.xml
Processing: Feed - Yes, Upload - No
id: 11, price: 150, description length: 266 - including - success
id: 37, price: 72, description length: 176 - including - success
id: 4, price: 65, description length: 148 - including - success
id: 36, price: 115, description length: 261 - including - success
id: 18, price: 72, description length: 171 - including - success
id: 13, price: 125, description length: 180 - including - success
id: 25, price: 225, description length: 28 - including - success
id: 26, price: 325, description length: 217 - including - success
Also, if you are able to view your error log, it will tell you what file is creating the problem. That would be the first thing I would do. It may be your host. Again, I am just guessing at what may be causing the problem.
Just another suggestion....make sure YOUR google merchant account info is correctly input into YOUR admin.
Hope that helps

Does the base feeder add all of your producst to the RSS feed or can you exclude some? My computers are not for sale, but TVs are for sale.

Problem resolved. It had to do with the templates directory. I did not rename Your_Template to match the template that I was currently using. Therefore, the file wouldn't read. So, when it finally clicked in my brain and I rename Your_Template to my template file, all was well in google merchant world.
On another note:
Google base product feed doesn't upload all my products. It stops at 4700 doesn't go pass 5000. Any comments or ideas on a fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone for all of your help!

Is it titled something different, or is this something I have to add on ?

Hi Bridgett,
Solved ! :clap::clap::clap:
My server couldn't take the long list of the products.
That's why I got those errors.
So I broke it into small portions and created them ony by one turning off some categories.
Then I combined all in one manually later.
I uploaded it and it worked good.
Thank you million, Bridgett standing by me trying to help me out.
That means a lot.

Scroll down to excluded categories. Edit and put in the categories you want to exclude. TVs, for example in your case. Then Create under tools and Upload.
Hope that helps.

Second issue, make sure your Titles are NOT CAPS. Google rejects them. Any description with dimensions need to changed. For example, 24" x 24". It's in #1902 of THIS thread.

Try putting this code in at admin/tools/install sql patches
PHP Code:
SET @configuration_group_id=0;
SELECT @configuration_group_id:=configuration_group_id
FROM configuration_group
WHERE configuration_group_title= 'Google Base Feeder Configuration'
LIMIT 1;
INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_id, configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, date_added, use_function, set_function) VALUES
(NULL, 'Debug', 'GOOGLE_BASE_DEBUG', 'false', 'Turn on simple debug?', @configuration_group_id, 0, NOW(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(\'true\', \'false\'),');

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Bridget,
Your tops girl...
Yes, I am sure all files are uploaded ..
Sure enough the feed folder was not set to 777 though.
Also added the Debug php you provided.
I stumbled in here looking for some ideas on why my products are not showing up within Google Products.
Everything gets uploaded just fine. All products show "active and searchable". Just not actually showing up within Google Products.
Maybe..., just maybe the feed folder setting was the problem.
I uploaded to products Google again..
Crossing my fingers ! :smile:

Hurray!! :clap:
Give it some time to show up in Google...I believe it takes about 48 hours.
As long as it says active and searching...it is most likely processing....
Now, set your cron tab once a day... and YOU are in!

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Well, gosh....
Been a couple days and only one item is showing up within Google Products. It is the most recently added item to inventory just prior to making the above changes.
Except for the cron tab.. Will have to read up on that :huh:

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Sorry to be a pain if this has been asked before, but how can I change google base feeder to submit my prices including VAT ? :blush:
Google excluded our feed in January :shocking: because our prices weren't including VAT. :no: The only way I've been able to submit a feed since in through downloading a tab delimited version of the feed and editing it myself. Timeconsuming and brainhurting :frusty:
So now I'm hoping to get it automated again. Any help?

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Thanks for the help. I haven't installed this mod yet because my developer isn't getting back to me, but I'm going to. One problem I'm having with the manual feed is that my pictures don't show up. I think my problem is this:
Images are in an unsupported format
Please make sure that your images are in one of our supported formats and their filenames include the appropriate extensions. In addition, to successfully process an image, its associated URL must link to an image file rather than to a script.
I copy and pasted the link from the picture. Instead, I guess you need the image location with file extension (i.e. .jpg). How or where do i get the image file location? When I click on a picture in my cart I only see a link?

I believe in some countries a website's pricing MUST include the VAT. I imagine that this means for these same countries that they must do the same when listing products in Google..

Yep.. VAT is a term that is used in the European Union (which includes the UK). Other countries also use a VAT for goods and services (such as Canada) though it may be called by other names in other countries the concept is still the same..

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Howdy all. I'm running 1.3.7 w/ fixes and just updated Feeder to 1.7.3 I have not uploaded a feed in a while, so I went and uploaded a feed last night. I got errors on all of my feeds so I update to the latest Google Feeder Version. Now my feeds don't run, no errors just nothing.
I get this:
Google Base Feeder v%s started 2010/02/01 22:32:12
Feed file - (Path Blanked Out)/feed/domain_products_.xml
Processing: Feed - No, Upload - No
It appears that I may not have it enabled? Maybe not sure. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Tom

Thats true of us in the UK. On our site we show the price including and excluding VAT, but on the google feed we HAVE to show the price including VAT.
Changing it in admin would just cause more hassle than its worth. I'd be happier to submit the feed manually and make all the changes myself.
I was just hoping that someone knew a way that the automatic feed would add on the VAT for me!
It causes errors for our products that are on special offer too. eg. product #544 costs £200, special offer £100 (+VAT = 117.50) Google feed would show this product to cost £200, even though on offer it costs £117.50 including VAT. The feed just reads the products price column, and not the specials price or the taxable goods columns. :wacko:

The feed is taken automatically from YOUR site from the information that is within YOUR site. So, the VAT would need to be added prior to the automatic feed. VAT is NOT added by Google after you create the feed. So, it's best to have the VAT installed through admin.
Adding it manually afterward may not work because you will not be able to set your cron tabs and Google may kick it back.
Hope that helps.

Zen Cart v 1.3.7.1
Base Feed v 1.7.4
I am still getting some characters (such as single quotes) to encode incorrectly, even after trying to cleanse the data in the backend.
I assume this was a previous bug that was already fixed. Can someone point me in the right direction of where this encoding is being done?
This causes Google to detect invalid characters, so it won't upload the data.
Thanks.

Hi, don't get discouraged because every time you upload (and if I am correct you uploaded a couple of times) Google with take the current feed. Again, you need to be patient because several or thousands of feeds are submitted daily. If you did NOT get an email from Google stating there was a problem and IF you merchant account shows searchable soon...then you are on the right path.
Ah...just for the record, it did not go smoothly for me..it took a couple of emails stating what I was doing wrong. Then it was fixed and then there was a problem and finally.....it worked...so work with it.
Hope that helps...

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
I installed this great MOD before Christmas, and it works well. Also set up a Cron Job so that the feed is uploaded to Google base automatically.
This is my problem. Our website shows the prices in two currencies GBP Pounds £ and USD Dollars $. Our default is pounds, buty we also show the $ equivalent on every page. The Google Base Feeder creates a product feed with the prices in £, and this is uploaded auytomatically to Google base to a data feed Targeting the United Kingdom. What I want to do is create another feed with all the prices marked in USD, and upload it to another Google base data feed that has the target country set to the United States. If this could be created automatically and updated to Google Base like the GBP version, then great, but if not, does anyone know how to do this manually?
Thanks for your time.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
I have installed the base feeder. I understand the first step is the configuration. Is there any documentation on how to do that? I'm not a developer. Can I do this myself or do I need to program stuff?
After I do the configuration then is there anything else I need to do? Is the Cron just for automatic submission?
Thank you

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Could not edit prev post:
When I try to create a product the browser attempts to go to:
http://www.mywebsite.com/shopping/go...?feed=fy_un_tp
But I get a 404 error. What is the deal, did the guy who installed it not do something right?

Please read through all the instructions. A lot of people skip through the basic instructions and find out later it was something they missed.
Hope that helps.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Where are the instructions? I want to read them so I don't have to ask stupid questions.
Also the feeder works in firefox, but in internet explorer I get the 404, is that becasue of the 777 chmod?
When I use firefox I got this:
Google Base Feeder v1.7.4 started 2010/02/03 22:07:47
Feed file - /usr/home/mywebsite/www/htdocs/shopping/feed/google_base_products.xml
Processing: Feed - Yes, Upload - No
Google Base File Complete In 0.191784 Seconds 0 Records
For included categories I only selected 1 category: fishing, which has subcategories. As you can see I got 0 records. Do I need to select the subcategories? If so how would I do that: fishing > baitcast reels, fishing > rods, etc?

Turn on Debug under Conf:::set to True.
Well, it looks like you did Create...now scroll down to Upload and let me know the results.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
My google base feed works great!
I have one issue - I have a mix of conditions (New, Refurbished, Used, etc) - with the auto uploader, you can only set the condition one way by default.
So, all of my items get posted on google as 'New', even though some are not.
I do not want customers to think I am pulling a fast one.
Is there a way to have each item's respective condition properly get uploaded?
I realize I can (and have done) manually adjust/upload the xml feed document, but it takes a lot time to go thru and edit.
Any suggestions, please?

Hi, I wish I could help you out but I am not the original author of this addon. I am just lending a helping hand from the experiences I have had with Google Feeder.
I, too, would like to have a choice per item but it does seem to be an option. In an earlier post I had made a similar request but it was never respond to.
Hope that helps.

Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
I turned debug to true.
I uploaded the file and the result was that "no items were inserted", kinda what I thought when the feeder showed 0 results. I get 0 results even if I leave inclusion / exclusion blank?
Also, when I go to view the results of the feed before uploading it takes me to a page that says I need to subscribe to a feed. So I do and then I can't view the feed, it just takes me back to my website.

1. Is your feed folder set to 777
2. Is googlefroogle.php installed in your root directory
3. The instructions are html file called documentation.html.
4. Did you correctly install your Google Merchant name & pw in the Google config in admin.
