Fual Slimbox -Look for changes marked with the text "Image Handler changes" from the additional_images.php file that comes with Image Handler3. These modifications should be merged into the additional_images.php file that comes with Fual Slimbox.
(You will need to use a file merging program like Beyond Compare or Winmerge to incorporate the Image Handler3 changes
Why can't you make the additional_images.php for the 2 different ones so we can incorporate the one needed.
do you have zen lightbox installed? if so then you don't need to merge the file...just install the one from LB into the proper place in a folder with your themes name on it then leave as is
IH3 uses it, providing you have the latest version of LB installed

I installed via cPanel QuickInstall to /shop/
Like I said all the functionality is there but I can't get the preview images to show all I get are broken links.
After investigating this futher I discovered the the path to the bmz_cache in the manager screen is missing the /shop/ not being a php master I could not figure out how to change it. I looked at the DIR_WS_CATALOG entry in configure and that has the /shop/ and the full path is correct on DIR_FS_CATALOG.
Could someone help me with this?
Thank you :frusty:
not sure if anyone has answered you and if they have then sorry if this repeats it but
your first culprit to look at would be the quickinstall you used. I learned the hard way to manually upload files to their proper folders (match name of zips folder to sites folder then upload to the site folder)
although those installers are handy they are good at messing up folders, files get corrupted or not set up right
as you can see the file path got messed up in your case. have you tried going to store admin/tools/IH3/admin in there/uninstall then reinstall from there?
otherwise I don't have a clue other than manually reuploading all the files AFTER uninstalling from the path I told you first.

Did you read the instructions in the Fual slimbox thread

As long as you are going to be doing your own web development, especially using a tool like Zen Cart, you are going to have to be prepared to learn some new skills. Otherwise might I suggest you give some thought to hiring someone to help you with your installs/configurations.. Might be worth the investment to pay someone to help you with tasks you may find challenging.

I'm gonna assume you didn't mean this to sound as snarky as it comes across..
That said, I'm sure you can appreciate that FREE modules are generously contributed by VOLUNTEERS. These volunteers contribute Zen Cart updates/enhancements/mods in their free time without any kind of compensation for their time and effort.. The volunteers who worked on IH3 didn't "make the additional_images.php for the 2 different ones" because they felt that:
A. The addition of the instructions on how to integrate the two most popular lightbox solutions with Image Handler (instructions which were not included in previous versions of Image Handler BTW) was MORE than sufficient to help guide folks through executing this process.
B. It was MORE important to devote their volunteer effort into improving IH3's functionality and documentation.
Now it's open source software.. So there's nothing stopping someone else from volunteering to add the modified additional images files needed to use IH3 with Fual Slimbox or Zen Lightbox to the IH3 fileset (and the later is not necessary since the IH3 readme file CLEARLY indicates that the additional images file that comes with ZLB should REPLACE the one that comes with IH3).
That said, a constructive question on where you are having issues will go a long way to getting your issue resolved versus posting gripes about what SHOULD or SHOULD not be included in the IH3 fileset.

Not being rude but...here's a valid question. Why can't you take the time to learn how to use WinMerge or some similar tool, thereby empowering yourself to be as self sufficient as possible? That way, if you run across a mod that needs file merging and that isn't as well supported as this one, you'll know what to do
Re: Image Handler 3 Support Thread
Hi guys,
I just wondering if this has occur to you? I've been using Image Handler 3 for the last 3 weeks. Everything is fantastic and working well for me.
Just today for some reason, i'm missing the Image Handler 3 "Action" button when i try to add more images.
I try to search it in Admin>Tools>Image Handler3, but not able to find it.
I hope you guys can help me out. Without the Action button is really inconvenience.
:(
Thank,
Andrew

Very much appreciated.

We actually can't help you with issues related to another mod.. (Sorry..) However if I had to hazzard a guess I'd say that the Dual Pricing mod modifies some of the same files used by IH3 and you are wiping out the IH3 changes because you are not merging these modifications. Using a file merging program you need to merge the changes between any files Dual Pricing has in common with IH3.. I'm afraid we can't be of much more help as the issue here is not IH3 at all.. It is an incorrect install of your Dual Pricing mod..
Re: Image Handler 3 Support Thread
How can I remove the Image Hover preview? The Client don't want it. They love everything except this (picky).

OMG I am sorry! It wasn't meant to be snarky or rude. New customers being too damn picky got on my nerves......I was venting and typed in wrong tab That was suppose to go into my WD Journal!
