Can someone give me instructions on setting up shipping zones? I don't know what I'm doing....
I just need for US and Canada. Thank you.:no:
I have a problem, i installed the module without any problem but when the customer will select the area only shows me one, I try to put 2 and several but only shows me the last area at the time of payment. Please hellp me :frusty:
I'm using Version 1.38a, original install
I've installed the Zones Table Rate Shipping addon with great success, only to be told that we also need to trigger certain categories as Haz-Mat for non-continental US shipping. I've played around with some different modifications to try to trigger 1 install of this add-on off and a clone with the Haz-Mat rates on but am having no success so far. It seems to be ignoring my check thus far. If anyone has a workaround for this it would be greatly appreciated.
I think I've finally figured out this mod. There's no read me (unless I missed it) in the file...took me a while to skim through this thread to get an idea of where to start.
Anywho, can I set up different shipping options per zone? I would like to offer 2 per shipping zones. I see there's another mod that does this. Do I install that one or does this mod have the capabilities? Thanks!
I am upgrading from 1.3.8a to 1.3.9g
I have 2 shipping zones in my active site US and also Canada that are working great.
Now upgrading my demo site I have copied my tablecanada.php to the paths. the language in the language and the mod into the mod.
Installed and Configured in the admin
howeverthe tablecanada is showing 0.0 at checkout.
So I must be missing something. Suggestions?
demo site is

I am tring to get the zone table rate module to work for me so I can do next day or 3-5 day shipping options for the UK.
I have set up the zone definitions and tax rates and then the zone table rates as follows
Enable Table Method
True
Table Method
price
Tax Class
Taxable Goods
Tax Basis
Shipping
Sort Order
0
Shipping Zone 1
GB 3-5
Zone 1 Shipping Table
5:0,0:0
Zone 1 Handling Fee
0
Shipping Zone 2
GB Next Day
Zone 2 Shipping Table
10:0,0:0
Zone 2 Handling Fee
0
Unfortunately when I go to checkout step1 of 3 delivery information it only offers the GB next day option !!!!!!
Would you have any idea why this is?
many thanks
Paul
On your Zone Definition ... if you go to the Zone Definition for:
GB 3-5
what are the Details setup for?
under zone definitions there are 2 Zones:-
GB 3-5 and GB Next Day each with a description and green radio button.
If you click on details for GB 3-5 then you get Zone Definition : United Kingdom and Zone: All Zones
Zone Table Rate zonetable is not designed for 2 zones for the same shipping ...
It is designed for 1 Zone Definition to manage the shipping address ...
Set the one you have for:
Shipping Zone 2
GB Next Day
to be:
Shipping Zone 2
--none-
I don't believe that will correct the problem but it will rule out a potential problem ...
Linda
I am trying to set it up so the customer can choose between either a next day shipping service or a 3-5 day service and I read that this was best done with this zone table rate shipping module.
Is this right?
If so can you advise on how to set up as I cannot find any info?
many thanks
Paul
The Zone Table Rate only will display 1 price at a time ...
If you only need 1 more for the UK, then install the Table Rate table and add the other UK Zone that you made ...
Change the language file for the Table Rate table shipping module and you should see both ...
I am not sure where to install the folder on my server? Can you please help.
Also, I am new to zen cart and have no idea what I'm looking for. My products on my store are directed shipped from the manufacturer. They already have provided ups and fedex shipping rates. For example Zone 2: ships to zip codes (100-250) Zone 3: ships to zip codes (250-400) etc..
Is this module going to help me with this? And also, any help with this i'll gladly donate to you or your company if you have one. We are waiting on this last step and then good to go.
If you look at the structure of the directories you will see the:
/includes
copy the /includes over your /includes directory and the files will go where they belong in the:

Hello, I need to offer my customers 2 zonetable options eg Express and Economy Shipping. Each of those tables needs 3 zone defiinitions eg UK, EUR, ROW. (zones have been defined).
I've tried cloning the two files included in this add on (the module and the associated language file) and changing every occurance of 'zonetable' to 'zonetable2'.
Unfortunately this hasnt worked...
zonetable2 appears in the shipping module list and is enabled but there is a red light next to it, the sort order does not work and when a customer selects this option on the catalogue side it just refreshes the (checkout) page with another shipping option selected instead.
Has anyone done something similar before? Any advice is greatly appreciated....
Many thanks!
In case anyone else is trying to duplicate this module - I managed to do what I was trying above. Thanks to finding this article -
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...216#post149531
I hadn't ensured the changes were made in both lowercase and uppercase.
i am presently using: v1.3.9h
i've installed the module + it gave the yellow light that based on the previous posts- just ignore it + it will still work.
my problem is, the shipping module not even appeared as one of the option of shipping method in choosing the shipping method process.
i've divided it to 5 zones with respective states on each zone.
PLEASE, if anyone can help..!!
but, when i set no zone, it work well..why??
The yellow icon means that you have Zones set ... this should be fine ...
Check your Zone Definitions and check the Details to see that you have setup the Country and Zone(s) that each Zone Definition is for ...
Example, if you have a UK Zone Definition, click on Details and make sure you have added to it a Detail for:
Country: United Kingdom
Zone: All Zones
Then check what you are using on the Shipping module itself for the rates ...
If you click on the Module, what do you see in the right panel? :unsure:
I have a problem that when I order 1 item at 1 lb. it shows:
( Estimate Shipping Costs
Total Items: 1 Weight: 1lbs Amount: $3.75
Country:
State/Province:
Post/Zip Code:
Shipping quotes are based on the address information you selected:
United States
Available Shipping Methods Rates
Zone Rates 2 (Shipping to US (1 x 4.00lb(s))) $5.99)
this happens for every item, any help would be great. using version 1.3.9h
What settings do you have when you click on shipping module in the right panel of the Modules ... Shipping ...
Yet another THANK YOU for this module!

Hello,
I have successfully installed the module. But, I am having a further query.
Situation:
I have 2 payment modules working. CCAvenues for India and PayPal for Rest of the World.
For the above situation, already 2 zones were made and assigned to respective payment modules.
But, in the above case, I was able to charge variable shipping cost as per country only.
I want to divide India zone, in to 2 sub-zones : State-1 and Other States.
When I went through the steps like said here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...18&postcount=3
I got 3 zones in Locations / Taxes > Zone Definitions.
But, I am able to assign CCAvenues only to one instead of two zones of India.
Additionally, I have different shipping rates for various countries of the world, which can be categorized into 5 different zones.
Again, I will be getting more 5 zones, and am facing difficulty while assigning PayPal payment module.
Later one was easy in the bundled Zone Rates Module.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you could help me with something that is very peculiar regarding of our shipping charge.
Our site has been running for a few years now, and countless orders have been running quite smoothly until today when one customer ordered from New Brunswick (Canada). You see, we have configured our settings to charge $25 on shipping when customer's subtotal is over $100 & up. However, this customer's subtotal is $109, and instead of being charged with $25, she was only charged $18 on shipping, which is our shipping charge rate for subtotal below $100. We have checked all of our configurations, and couldn't find any errors that we might be made on our part. Not only that, but we have other order which were defined in the same zone was charged correctly on shipping. Is there anywhere else that I should check into?
I'm using the current updated Zencart version.
Thank you!!
i cannot create sub zone..please help me
What kind of Zone are you trying to make?
You would start with the Zone Definition to create a name for it, then, click on DETAILS and set the
Country:
Zone:
Then, to have it included in your Zones Table Rate Shipping Module, you would want to go to the Modules ... Shipping ... and save all settings to the Zones Table Rate Shipping Module, as they will all be lost, then do a REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure ...
This will add the new Zone Definition to the shipping module ...
- Im very very new, sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else (perhaps, I missed it)
- I'm using 1.39h
- I've been a week trying to find this in FAQs and previous posts in the forums
I cant figure this out:
In my country, post service divide destination zones as follow:
- Asia-Pacific
Group 1 (country A, B, C, etc)
Group 2 (country G, H, J, etc) .. up to group 7
- America
there are 3 groups of countries under this
- Europe
1 group
- Africa
there are 3 groups under africa
I had made 17 zone definitions for my international shipping...... but how to put it right?
I have used the zone table for my domestic shipping (33 province, some 400s cities and towns), I thought for intenational shipping I could use zone table rates.. but now i'm stuck: how to do that for 17 groups?
is it posibble to have zone table rates cloned?
please anyone enlighten me. It's been a week I try to find solution to the similar problem in the previous post and on the intrnet in general... I have no idea how to do this :frusty:
Thanks in advance
oh ya, so far, I manage to have table rate clone (http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1027)
my problem is adding the 5th, 6th, and so on...
i also have the problem like this
Problem when table method is set to weight
Zencart version 1.37
Zone table rate Mod Version 1.1
my product weights are in grams
My problem is that it is not calculating correctly
I have it set the table method to weight i have the zone1 shipping tale set as
1500:4.95,10000:10.00,15000:15.00
now when i select a product with a weight of 1400 and go to the checkout it comes up with
Zones Table Rate (31 x 49.68lbs)
and the shipping charge shows as $153.45 instead of $10
If i set the table method to price it works fine for defined price ranges, but i would like it to work by weight
Any help would be greatly appreciated ?
AND I ALSO SET SHIPPING PACKAGING 6000000
Go to the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... and set the Maximum weight to: 20000 and set the Tare Rates to: 0:0 ...
set the Tare Rates to: 0:0 ...
yeh..done this..thank you very much!!!!!!!!
Module is working well but I am having one weird issue.
We allow pickup walk-in as a shipping option. Since installing zone modules, all of our invoices and orders say pickup for shipping even though they selected the zones module shipping, it also shows the correct shipping rate just has pickup for the shipping name.
Has anyone else ran into this problem? Looking for a fix.
Hi All,
How do I add extra Zones. I thought it added new zones based on zone definitions, but I added an extra zone definition and still have just 5 zones. I reinstalled the module, but to no avail. You help's greatly appreciated. :-)
I'm curious. Even though this addon seems to have the capabilities I need, why is it even considered viable when it has been 5 years since it was last updated? Does it even work with 1.5.x?
This was updated in July, 2012 ...
Are you sure you are looking at:
http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=720
I have my zones all configured correctly for taxes and for shipping, but I have one more issue I'd like to resolve. Not really so much an issue, but more a cause for confusion to the end user. On step 2 of 3 payment information I want to change the wording to something more easily understood WITHOUT changing the names of the zones as defined in Zencart. Example:
Your Total
$549.95
Sub-Total:$16.95
Zones Table Rate (Canada GST only - ship zones 1):$28.35
5.0% GST + 5.0% GST on shipping:$595.25
Total:$595.25
The description in red, is there a way to configure the module to display a different field and drop the Zones Table Rate prefix? I mean, the buyer doesn't need to scratch their head over this, I just want it to say shipping! :) TIA!
We currently have an osCommerce website which is now getting a bit long in the tooth and are considering changing to ZenCart rather than rebuilding using osCommerce (as v3 is not yet ready for Prime Time), as it seems to offer much more configuration without having to resort to extensive code modifications for what should be functions available from within the admin section.
To that end, I currently have version 1.5 installed on my (localhost) development server and am going through all the configurations/modules, to determine that it will actually be a better option. I have only just started this process, so this is the first of possibly several areas that I might hit obstacles. We are based in Jersey (Channel Islands, GB - [NOT UK]) and have, currently, 20 different shipping zone tables thus:
Shipping Modules:
COLLECT from warehouse 0 > (no shipping)
Jersey Post/Royal Mail: Domestic Packet 30 > (up to 2kgs + not more than 610mm)
Jersey Post/Royal Mail: Domestic Parcel 40 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
FREE Home Postal Delivery 4 > (any weight + over certain value)
Home Evening Delivery 7 > (fixed rate)
Jersey Post / Royal Mail: International Packet 80 > (up to 2kgs)
Jersey Post / Royal Mail: International European Packet 90 > (up to 2kgs)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone A 100 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone B 110 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone C 120 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone D 130 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone E 140 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone F 150 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone G 160 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post / ParcelForce: International - Standard Parcel Service Zone H 170 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post: Local Packet 10 > (up to 2kgs + not more than 610mm)
Jersey Post: Local Parcel 20 > (over 2Kgs &/or over 610mm)
Jersey Post/Royal Mail: Special Delivery 500 50 > (up to 10kgs + not more than 610mm)
Jersey Post/Royal Mail: Special Delivery 1000 60 > (up to 10kgs + not more than 610mm)
However, I can't quite figure out how I can add all these zone tables to the existing 3 zone rates, as there seems to be no button to add additional zones.
As far as the Tax zones are concerned, we have 3:
Jersey GST - 5%
UK VAT - 20%
ROW - 0%
which have all been set up in the Zone Definitions section and are all showing green.
In order to get this to work in osCommerce, it has required extensive code modification and additional files, as it is necessary for the system to select & present the available shipping options to the customer based on:
Country Code
Weight
Length (over 610mm must be Parcel [zone rates])
In osCommerce, I had to add a lot of custom code to get all this to work as, additionally, each product item has to have an extra field to designate whether it is a "long-item" i.e. over 610mm.
If anyone could give me some directions on getting the different zone rates set up in ZenCart in a better manner than our current osCommerce method, I would be extremely grateful. Once I have that sorted, I can start looking at the "attributes" situation, vis-a-vis separate part-code and weight for each attribute.
Many thanks,
Steve
I've tested this module on ZC 1.5.1 and works fine.
I have successfully duplicated the zonetables module so i now have zonetables and zonetables2. Works OK in 1.5.1.
However, I would like to disable zonetables1 when the weight is less than .5. How would I go about doing this?
I found the code below in another thread, but not sure if this is what to use or where to put it in the zonetables.php file.
Thanks for any tips!
Try using this to test the cart for weight:
Code:
global $cart;
// disable if product weight is greater than .5 in cart
if (IS_ADMIN_FLAG == false && $_SESSION['cart']->show_weight() > .5) {
$this->enabled = false;
} else {
$this->enabled = true;
}
That would go under the code:
Code:// disable only when entire cart is free shipping
if (zen_get_shipping_enabled($this->code)) {
$this->enabled = ((MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_STATUS == 'True') ? true : false);
}
// disable if product weight is less than .5 in cart
if (IS_ADMIN_FLAG == false && $_SESSION['cart']->show_weight() < .5) {
$this->enabled = false;
}
That worked beautifully Ajeh. I can now duplicate zonetables and switch them on and off.
Thanks so much!
Hi,
I have installed this module. ( ie I have copied the files in the appropriate folders).
What is the next step?
When I click on admin->modules->shipping and select zone table rate, nothing seems to have changed.
Attachment 13081
So far I have done the following:
Thru localisation ->zonedefinitions I have added four sub zones under zone "India"
Attachment 13082
Now I want to assign different shipping rates for each of these zones, based on weight; as given by my courier service.
How do I do it ?
As of now, I have flat rate and store pickup enabled.
Thanks
If you add new Zone Definitions *after* you install Zone Table ... you need to save your settings to NotePad then do a REMOVE, INSTALL and re-configure ... now you can assign rates fo all the Zone Definitions that you have defined ...
On your Zone Definitions, do you have Details defined on each one?
inserting the image again: Attachment 13091
As you can see, I have one country, under which I have four zones.
I want to assign different courier rate (based on weight) for each of these zones.
I can see you are online now, so attaching the screen, where I have the "details" button.
Actually its little confusing. On this screen "India" comes under "Zone Name" heading.
Once I click the details button, India comes under " Country" heading.
Attachment 13092
And what do you see if you see hit the DETAILS on the Zone Definition that you have?
You mean to say hit details on the last screen shot i sent you ?
I see this:
Attachment 13094
Am i configuring this all wrong?
First, go to your Modules ... Shipping ... and all of the installed Shipping Modules should have a Sort Order as you are using Sort Order on 1 or more of your Shipping Modules ...
Second, if you have any shipping modules installed that you are not using, do a REMOVE on them ...
Next, is there an URL where we can test creating an account for your site?
Done, as per your advice. The shipping screen looks as : Attachment 13097
My site is live at : www.bambino.co.in
thanks in advance !
You still have some Sort Orders set to 0 and others defined ...
Either set them ALL to 0 or give them ALL a unique Sort Order ...
is it that under zone definitions I should 'insert' the zones i want?
Let me state again the requirement:
I ship in India. And the shipping rates are defined as per these areas:
Local, South, Karnataka, Rest of India.
So I need to classify a shipment in either of these areas to arrive at the shipping cost.
Is it possible ?
I am talking about the Modules ... Shipping ...
You are showing some shipping modules with a Sort Order of 0 and some shipping modules with a defined Sort Order ... you need to *either* have ALL shipping modules set to 0 or ALL shipping modules with a unique, non-zero value ...
On the Zone Table shipping module, do you want a separate shipping cost definition for each of your Zones for:
Local
South
Karnataka
Rest of India
yes, that's what I need.
I have changed the sort order to have unique sort order for each method.
here's the screen shot :Attachment 13099
Your Flat Rate flat shipping module still reads 0 ... they ALL need to either be 0 or ALL need to have an unique Sort Order ...
If you want to set a unique shipping cost for each of your 4 Zones, then you need to make 4 Zone Definitions with DETAILS setup for each one ...
Then, after your Zone Definitions are created, you need for the Zone Table Rate zonetable to do a REMOVE, INSTALL and re-configure with your Zone Definitions ...
I have put flat shipping because its a live shop and till the other shipping option does not work, this will work well.
Shall i remove flat shipping ? As once the zone tables are set, i do not need it.
Once your Zone Table Rate zonetable is working ... then you should remove any shipping modules that you are not actually using ...
Sure, I think it is making sense now :smile:
Its all about asking the right question.. Your question in thread #254 is what I actually wanted but was not able to put in those words.
Now India has 28 states, which I need to bundle under these four zones :smile:
I have decided to do it in the morning.
Thanks Again !
Let us know how things work out for you ...
I am so glad to see all my zones in the drop box! :clap:
I am going to configure them now.
Thanks !
You are most welcome ... glad to hear things are coming together for you ... :smile:
Hi,
Im using 1.5.1 and this shipping module. I have duplicated it successfully to do one weight based and one item based.
I have a need to be able to disable this shipping module over a certain weight as over this weight, we will begin to price by item. This threshold needs to at around 150. I have tried some of the hacks suggested for UPS and USPS modules on varying lines within the file, but to no avail. Can anyone give me a steer if they have managed something similar?
Thanks
You can customize the file:
/includes/modules/shipping/zonetable.php
(or which ever shipping module you are trying to turn off)
with the code in RED for:
Code:if (zen_get_shipping_enabled($this->code)) {
$this->enabled = ((MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONETABLE_STATUS == 'True') ? true : false);
}
// bof: disable for weight >= 150
if (!IS_ADMIN_FLAG && $_SESSION['cart']->show_weight() >= 150) {
$this->enabled = false;
}
// eof: disable for weight >= 150
if ($this->enabled == true) {
Bang on!! Thanks Ajeh!
You are most welcome, thanks for the update that this can work for you ... :smile:
Hi Ajeh,
If you scroll up this page, you would recollect that you had helped me to set up my zones. Other things came up, so I could not set up the zone table after that. Now I have upgraded to 1.5.1
I have entered all information as per my zones and rates. But the icon is yellow. And the rates are also not being shown in shipping estimator.
Another weird thing is that if I put sort order as '4', I get a duplicate sort order warning; though as you can see in the image, I have not put '4' as sort order Sort order for anything elsed. '1' is not giving that warning.
please guide me again. Attachment 13660
Yellow is okay and on the Sort Order just make sure you do not get the duplicate warning ...
When you go to Locations / Taxes ... Zones ... under the Country for India, what Zones do you see?
I had installed a Plug-in to get Indian Zones. ( Zones-India edited by relish). Then I added the additional zones that I needed for my shipping mechanism. So , Under Locations/Taxes.. Zones.. under the country for India, there are in a whole lot of zones ( 38 to be precise) and that also has the zones added by me.
I did a trial order and the invoice looks like this:
Attachment 13666
The Zone table pricing should have been 30 Rs ( shipping zone 2, Karnataka), but its 0. I am attaching the zonetable configuration again, for your reference :
Attachment 13667
Please let me know, where am I going wrong.
Thanks
Can you post the settings on each of the Zone Shipping Table settings ... I cannot read them clearly in the image ...
sure : Here it goes :
OOps, pressed enter a little too soon.
Shipping Zone 1 : Local
Zone 1 Shipping Table : 0.250:20,1:30
Zone 1 Handling Fee : 0
Shipping Zone 2 : Karnataka
Zone 2 Shipping Table : 0.250:30,1:40
Zone 2 Handling Fee : 0
Shipping Zone 3 : South
Zone 3 Shipping Table :0.250:40,1:55
Zone 3 Handling Fee : 0
Shipping Zone 4 : Rest of india
Zone 4 Shipping Table :0.250:45,1:85
Zone 4 Handling Fee : 0
If you edit the Product, what is the Product Weight set to?
Do you have it marked as:
Product is Virtual: NO
Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules
The weight is 0.5
and the settings are same as you mentioned :
Product is Virtual: NO
Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules
Is it that fraction is causing an issue ?
The next thing to check are the settings on the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...
Then, check your Zone Definition for Karnataka, what do you have on the DETAILS ...
Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... I found two corrections that I felt were to be made:
1. Under "Order Free shipping zero weight status" the setting was 1 ; changed it to 0
2. Changed " Display number of boxes/weight status" to 2.
In Zone definition for Karnataka, when I click Details : The row shows: Under Country - "India" and under Zone "Karnataka".
This definition looks alright to me.
I will try a test order now with the configuration changes.
Thanks
I did a dummy order again.
The product weight is 0.250 gm, as entered ( and double checked) in the admin panel.
This is what the estimator shows :
Attachment 13688
Also, regardless of the state I select, the weight comes to be the same : 5.26lbs ; and rate is 0
Not sure what's wrong. I am disabling the module as of now, and will keep the flat rate one on. Please advice
The problem is the definition for the Zone Rate:
Your definition goes to 1 lb and the quote is for 5.26lbs ... without a definition you get $0.00 ...Code:Shipping Zone 2 : Karnataka
Zone 2 Shipping Table : 0.250:30,1:40
Zone 2 Handling Fee : 0
Try changing the Rate to:
0.250:30,1000:40
Does this now work better?
Also check what the settings are in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... on the Maximum Weight and the Tare Rates ... You said the Product was 0.5lbs and you are showing 5.26lbs on this product ...
I think it is working :bow:
I blindly did what you said. ie :
1. Checked the Tare rates. I didn't understand what it should be (at least at this point of time). So made it 0:0
2. made the rate to 0.250:30,1000:40
But to be very frank I didn't understand. 250 gms is working so why not 1.0 kg ? I mean shouldn't both the weights be of same calibre? as per the current setting its 250 gms and 1000 kg.
Also is there a way to change the unit from lbs to Kg ?
You are being really helpful. Thanks !
Not really without doing other code changes as by default, Zen Cart works with lbs ...
Thanks.
Any input on the .250 Vs 1000 ?
What is a products_id for .250 grams?
What is a products_id for 1.0 kg?
Apologies for not being able to reply. Had some family issues. Could not work at all.
Did not get your question.
Did you mean some products that are of weight .250 and some that are 1.0 ?
All books are of weight 0.250; example product id - 981
So if somebody is buying four books, the weight should be 1kg. Not sure if this is what you asked.
Apologies for not being able to reply. Had some family issues. Could not work at all.

So if somebody is buying four books, the weight should be 1kg. It is showing 1kg and the shipping cost is also correct. Just not sure how this is happening when I am mentioning 1000 and not 1.0
From what I can see, your shipping is now working ...
Are there any products that are not calculating the shipping right?
For the lbs to kg, go to your Zen Cart Admin and in the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... in the bottom input box do a search on:
lb
and select Catalog and click SEARCH ...
This should show you where the defines are for the lb and lbs ... use your template and override directories to customize them ...
:jump:
Yes it is working ! Just not sure how.
Thanks for the pointer to the developer's tool kit. I am able to look up that too.
I must must admire your patience.
Thanks again
Thanks for the update that all is working fine now ... :smile:
Hi,
Me again ! :jump:
Just wanted to update that I managed to change the weight from Lbs to Kg.
And I finally got the right zone table weight rate. Its :
Zone 1 Shipping Table
0.250:20,1:30,2:60,3:90,4:120,1000:999
Zone 1 Shipping Table
0.250:20,1:30,2:60,3:90,4:120,1000:999
Zone 3 Shipping Table
0.250:40,1.0:50,2.0:100,3.0:120,4:160,1000:999
Zone 4 Shipping Table
0.250:45,1.0:85,2.0:150,3.0:250,4:310,1000:999
This is working just perfect . Thanks !:jump:
Thanks for the update that everything is now working for you ... :smile:
Hi Gang!
Please let me know if this table rates applies in the case where I would like to offer three separate shipping options (via DHL, FedEx and UPS).
Or should I rather use Zone Rates?
thanks
Thanks!
Hi All, I have a question for you. Bear in in I am very new to Zen Cart so there may be holes in my question, so here goes…
I wondered if it is possible to some how bring in all the post codes in Canada into the admin area (I'm not sure how to do that), then use zone definitions to group selections of post codes together into shipping groups, then use Multiple Zones to apply a pricing structure to the various different shipping groups, and have all that recognised in the cart. I am only shipping to Canadian customers so those are the only post codes I need recognisable in Zen. Thanks heaps.
All I can say is great add on .. Works just how I want it ,was struggling with the built in ones
thanks
A search of the plugin results in this one:

See if that works better for you ...
Thanks Ajeh
Hello,
I have been messing around with cloning this shipping module and finally got it working. I have a slight issue with one part of it though. I cloned the module to offer International customers a first class shipping option for orders up to $50.00. Everything works great except when the order is over $50.00, I need the shipping option not to be displayed and only display the USPS Priority mail option.
I did find one of AJEH's posts about disabling modules over a certain weight but I haven't got weights added to our store yet because we are dealing with approximately 15,000 parts at the moment.
Here is the code snippet that I found in Ajeh's Post #266:
if (zen_get_shipping_enabled($this->code)) {
$this->enabled = ((MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONETABLE_STATUS == 'True') ? true : false);
}
// bof: disable for weight >= 150
if (!IS_ADMIN_FLAG && $_SESSION['cart']->show_weight() >= 150) {
$this->enabled = false;
}
// eof: disable for weight >= 150
if ($this->enabled == true) {
Can you make any suggestions on how to modify the above code to work with cost rather than weight? I need it to be disabled for any order over $50.00.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
$_SESSION['cart']->show_total() deals with the total in the shopping cart ...
Awesome! That did the trick. I appreciate your time and your response.
