Thanks for the help. I couldn't delete the entries using the uninstall.sql file - said it couldn't find the configuration_groups table. So I used phpMyAdmin and (taking a deep breath and closing my eyes, crossing my fingers, stroking my lucky rabbit's foot etc.) deleted the entries in the relevant tables and then used the install patches just to run the install.sql file. I realised that I had previously also run all of the update sql files, hence, presumably, the duplication.

After long long day, I change my directory so I don’t have the /store in it, and I am able to use this mod ( any one like to buy $20.00 site map for a ?0.01) :smile:

Can some one direct me to where I saw what files should be in the Disallow in the Robots.txt

It is likely you have a prefix (e.g. zen_) on your db tablenames and thus uploading the uninstall.sql through Zen Cart's sqlpatch tool did not work for you. In these cases try pasting the sql code into the sqlpatch tool edit box.

It's strange that you would have duplicate entries (table records) with the exact same parameters (fields) in your related db tables. When running a SQL statement which would duplicate pre-existing records in a table, by default MySQL should report back the record already exists, and not update the table with those particular records.

But if doubt and you are having issues (and you know what you are doing) phpmyadmin is the way to go.

I tried using the sqlpatch tool, and that reported errors about missing tables: it even reported the correct database name, prefix and table, but reported the table as missing. In fact as far as I coul tell all was correct, but sql patch wasn't happy about something!!!

I was able to load this mod, but when I click: STEP 1: Click [HERE] to create / update your site map.


I only get a blank popup.

I think I have everything configured right....
I 777'ed the xml files.
Ran the generator:

So it doesnt show any links...

But then I edit the file... And I see the links are there!

I don't understand what is meant by this. What is "it"? When do you see the file does not "show any links"? How would you not know without opening the file in a text editor? :wacko:

By default the mod should generate four (4) XML files. The index file is:
sitemapindex.xml

And the other three:
sitemapproducts.xml
sitemapcategories.xml
sitemapezpages.xml

(the last file depends on your settings in ZC Admin > Configuration > Google XML Sitemap)

Be sure you have 777 perms on all four files when you are generating them (then recommend turning off write bit when done generating).

The mod should throw an error for each of the four files when you try to generate without the correct perms.

Note, if you did not upload the four xml files from the mod distribution then you have to physically create each xml file (empty file) in a text editor and upload, before the initial sitemap generation.

I have the xml files set to 777
I also made the files blank.

I re ran and tried to recreate the xml files.
It says they are fine. even shows the product counts:

but when i click on the next link ( to see the products )
it doesn't look like they are written to.
