Like i said, this module does not use xsell.php, ignore it, use the advanced xsell link. I think the link got left there for some reason, I will remove it from the package now
Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)

only one thing please
I have charged 2 demoproducts inserted in xsell

Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
I'm writing a new version of this module with some add features that I need to justify if it is worth it (in other words, will these features add benefit to you?)
Those are:
cross sell product to product (old),
product to category,
category to category,
category to product
I need to see if it is worth it or now, reason is:
To cross sell so many ways like that we will need more than 1 queries executed to pull out the products. I will consider caching but still it will use more resources that it is now. So let me know what you think. Is this worth it?
Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
Yellow, this might be a bit overkill. I would rather see a feature where one can select the cross sell products more visually. Let's say pull up a certain category listing and then check mark the ones to be cross sell both ways.
Just a thought... don't want to overstep, but thought this would be nice if you want to spend more time with it!

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for - if a customer buys any product in category A - I would like to suggest non specific items from category B, C, D etc...
I can see product to category and category to category being VERY useful.

Just my $.02. I use product to product 99% of the time. Making that process easier would be more beneficial. Many times I over the reverse but not always so making that an option would be helful. Although, probably very difficult to implment.
