Additional info: when I put an order number in the search box it takes me to an order screen but it doesn't have any of the credit card information on it. Should I be seeing that information on this screen or somewhere else?

I am working on a hack version of this. I will just be using the bottom portion of the shipping area. Leaving the rest the way order.php was orignally.
tracker.php is the same file as order.php just has the mod changes in it.
I am trying to display the product_model on the tracker page. The order list page not the order summary.
Has anyone been able to do that?
Here is my current problem. When I go to the orders.php url the charge information shows correctly. When I go to the tracker.php it is not there. I have reinstalled all the tracker pages and they are correct but I don't understand why the tracker page will not display the credit card number or expiration date but the order page does. Any suggestions?
Ok, test site with 1.3.9d and everything appears to be working but I do not see the infobox on the right like you do on the orders page. Is this the way that it is supposed to be? I looked at the code and see echo $box->infoBox($heading, $contents); near the bottom of the page but I do not have the infobox on my screen. Any ideas??? I attached a screenshot.

ive just installed this on my test site and i couldn't find the correct tracking links for Royal Mail or for Parcel Force after some hours of playing around i have now found the correct links for them both, sure they will come in handy for someone :yes:

I appear to be having some compatibility issues with TY Package Tracker and Super Orders. I was getting blank pages when you click the "view" on my account page and when you click the invoice link in emails. I applied the fix quoted below and it Fixed the link on the my account page but the links that go out with the emails still bring up a blank page. This is an example of one of the links that are sent out "http://69.195.73.76/index.php?main_page=account_history_info&order_id=9" now If I replace "account_history_info" in my address bar with "tracker" the link works perfectly. Where can I edit so that the links will send the correct URL?

Firstly may i say this is an excellent mod ive had it working for a few days now.
Can i make some suggestions/requests for updates
1. Would it be possible to include the tracking code link on the add tracking id summary page before you go into the specific order. So that just before the action buttons is the tracking code that links off to the carriers tracking page?
2. Also using a similar bit of code to do the same in other mods such as the PDF Order Center (PDFOC) or Super Orders summary pages?
3. Get the tracking data into account_order_history_info_default.php as I have all my PDF invoicing programmed into this page.
If these have already been answered in this thread can someone point me at the rough page number.

We are now finalizing the new Super Orders readme, and the new version of Super Orders FULLY integrates this add-on (no need for a seperate install at all!!) we will include detailed instructions for those running Ty Package Tracker so that you can remove files that are no longer needed while retaining your existing tracking data..

love the mod very useful just wondered if any one new how to change the admin drop down admin> customers> add tracking id i would like it to say ship order just to make it a bit simpler for our staff any help would be much appriciated
If you use the Developers Toolkit in the admin, search for the text you want to change.. make note of the file it's in, and modify that file..

Lastly I want to ask a SMALL favor.. When posting bugs/issues it's a WHOLE LOT more helpful to resolve if you post details. Just saying "it's broken" does not provide nearly enough information to help you resolve your issue. Please provide as MUCH information as possible including the version of Zen Cart you are running, the version of the module you are running, any other add-ons you may have also installed, and hosting/server information (PHP versions, mySQL versions, etc)

I just install upgrade to super orders 3.0, edit orders, 3.0 and ty package tracker 3.0. Everything seems to be working correctly but I don't see the tracking number field in Super Orders even though I've configured it to 'TRUE' under CONFIG>TY PACKAGE TRACKER. Any thoughts on what the issue could be?
Nevermind I must a missed the ty sql upgrade for super orders, its working correctly now. Thanks for all your hard work.....
Crystal, noticed a slight puzzlement in the 3.0 release. The same file (track_orders.php) seems to be present in both:
- ty_package_tracker_for_x_3-0\ty_package_tracker_v_3-0\1_Install_Files\includes\modules\sideboxes
- ty_package_tracker_for_x_3-0\ty_package_tracker_v_3-0\2_Remove_From_Previous_Versions\includes\modules\sideboxes
Yank it or leave it?
And it looks like the file is also mentioned in both the "Core Files" and "Deprecated Files" sections of the readme.

I think what's at play here is two streams of thought.. Initially I was going to eliminate the sidebox (found it mostly not useful in it's previous state and not working well).. Then I made one small modification and put it back in the install fileset.. I carelessly forgot to update all the documentation I had already written.. WHOOOOOOPS!!!!
Chalk it up to late nights, but I can ALWAYS count on you for being the detail police for me.. I'll take a look, confirm and correct when I get home.. (not that I need to.. you're usually SPOT on with your finds..:laugh:)

Not trying to beat you up here, but it seems fairly clear to me that you did not read the readme document which contains the detailed install instructions.. The readme document VERY CLEARLY states that the files in the "2_Remove_From_Previous_Versions" are supposed to be REMOVED from your store if you are UPGRADING (hence the folder name).
Bottomline is that you have this module installed wrong.. which is why you are getting the errors you have.. Please go back and read the readme file.. The steps for installation and upgrade are clearly spelled out there.. I will not simply repeat the installation instructions here.. I wrote the readme so that you would be able to install the module and so that I did not have to constantly repost the installation instructions.. If there is anything that is not clear in the readme, please let me know what part of the installations instructions is NOT clear and I will clarify for you..
Also note that there is a file that was inadvertently left out of the Ty Tracker fileset. I have attached it here for now until such a time as I can get the update for the module submitted:

I have uploaded and re-uploaded and reinstalled you name it I have done it.
I have even installed three new virgin carts and I get the same result from every one of them.
I am not a dummy when it comes to zen-cart I have 10 clients with them. BUT - this mod simply will NOT work for me - I can not update with the tracking number. No matter what I do it just goes to a 500 error the page can not be displayed.
YES everything is where it is suppose to be
YES, I have double checked (did it over 10 times)
No, I do not have any other mods on the test site
YES I did winmerge, and I did a complete overwrite - both give same results
I know I am not doing anything wrong, but I guess I am. After 4 hours of trying this I gotta just throw up my hands unless some one can possibly give me any kind of reason why this is?

REGARDLESS of the module.. the procedure for blank pages is the same..
Post the contents of the error log that Zen Cart would have generated.
Your error logs are located in the cache folder..

I was wondering if it could be set up the way that the update currency is set up. It runs on a cronjob to your settings and updates with the information it retreives.
I'm still not sure I understand what you are trying to automate or HOW it's related to this module. With regards to this module, the ONLY way that the tracking data is updated is if you explicitly enter it.. You can't automate the manual entry of tracking data.. Automation of tracking data requires that the tracking data is grabbed from an external source automatically and stored in the DB which would allow this module to grab the tracking data and apply it to a specific order..Quote:

I do not have super orders or edit orders installed
I installed the mod. The first problem I encountered was the error on line 89 of /admin/order.php.
I found that there was an additional file to upload in this forum
Now it works fine on the admin side.
when you log on as a customer and click your order either from the sidebox, or from your account page. it takes you to a blank page

I would need to know what the error logs say.. and since you are running v1.3.8 you will need to install the Zen Cart module that generates error logs (v1.3.9 has this ability built in).. There is a Zen Cart mod for v1.3.8 that can install on your site to generate error logs..
If you search the FAQ or the forum for "blank page" you'll find this module.. The purpose of this module s to help trap and display errors.. Once you have this installed and can provide me with the error message it may provide some insight into the issue..

Thanks. That fixed it. I kept an original file and just renamed it in the same folder. Dumb, since I know better. renamed it properly by changing the name and extention and now everything works perfectly.

Hi. After installing v3.0 in zen 1.39h I have a problem when updating an order. When I add a comment or change status - click update, I just get a blank screen and no updated info. Im pretty sure all the files were uploaded correctly.
Any ideas?

I installed the Ty Tracker and enabled the sidebox. I love havign previous orders at their disposal with a single click in a sidebox.
1. For some reason everything seems to be workign ok except that the tracking link is not appearing for the end user when they click on the order number in the previous orders sidebox.
2. I am using Stamps.com and the stamps.com software automatically adds the tracking number to the orders database and it displays but with no link - is there a way that the Ty Tracker can simply use that field to create the url link for tracking? This way you don't have to manually go in to each order and add the tracking number to the order.
3. When I uploaded the files for the install my Edit Order 3.0 disappeared. According to the readme I surmised you didn't haev to do anythign if Edit Orders was already installed? I imagine the orders.php overwrote any changes to the orders.php that Edit Orders had made.

I was setting up this Mod for someone and the tracking number was not being sent with the order update email. I found the problem and fixed it.... see below

The issue of the e-mails not being sent was addressed in the updated version of the mod which is now available for download.. (see my post a few posts up..) The correction we made is slightly different than what you've done here.. Suggest downloading the new version..

I update orders.php, but sent email still doesn't carry tracking number. Download v3.1 and follow readme to upgrade again, still no luck.
Do I still miss something?
I can only suggest first checking your store's orders.php against the one in the 3.1 fileset and make sure that all the required modifications are in place in yours..
