FYI.. Took a trip around Google.. This collapsing on scroll issue with touch screen devices is a KNOWN BUG with this menu.. and it's not just Androids, older Apple devices have reported the SAME issue with this menu.. I will probably drop it from my client's in favor of a commercial menu or I'll do some integration wizardry and use the WordPress menu..Quote:

I'm trying it out on a new site and having trouble adding a new top level link in the main nav bar. I can add it to header via EZ-page, and think I need to edit a file to add it to the main nav bar (next to categories, information and contact us), but am having trouble finding where that code is being generated.
Sort of yes - when you hover over the entry you'll see the items. But ok, I'll would settle for having the indicator on the right, where it was in the first place! The test site is dtc.fi and the before mentioned problems persist.
BTW: I have the localized button names in corresponding button_names.php but the defined BUTTON_..._ALT's don't show!? As an example the login page - the texts are localized but the buttons are not.
N.B Many links still point to the old webpage, as this is "a work in progress". Localization is not either complete.
I don't see anything wrong with the header and footer. If you want to use the template in a language other than english you need to copy the template language files to your new language and translate them. This has been discussed many times here on the forum.Quote:

The product display is not as wide as the header (there would seem to be room for one more, there are five products - the language flags are on the far right). This doesn't happen on the demo site! Is it because I don't use sideboxes?
Language settings are under control, as such. Don't know where the button names come from, so that I could localize them also.
My Contact Us still falls apart....
BTW: Customer services come out as Shipping on the test site.

That's where I've done it (Tools/Layout Boxes Controller) - the only column I have ticked on, is Single Column in sideboxes/westminster_new/languages_header.php.

It would seem that the TEXT_NO_PRODUCTS define for Features is missing. I find TEXT_NO_PRODUCTS definitions - from it I can't deduct which define is missing! Specials don't have the problem as such - there is no statement at all.
The empty section on the Special page and issue with the TEXT_NO_PRODUCTS on New Products and Featured Products pages was mentioned earlier on this thread.Quote:

Adding a reference isn't always possible.. requires the person to have to do the search on your behalf and then copy and paste the result in a response.. speaking for myself, if I'm answering on a mobile device, the search is awkward, and copying and pasting a result into a response on a thread is even more so.. A new search for TEXT_NO_PRODUCTS doesn't pinpoint a message with a solution - didn't earlier, doesn't now.

Hi Anne, firstly I have to say how much i think this template rocks!! thank you for creating such a wonderful template for free.
I have firebug and web development for firefox to help me out. This is how I have gotten my shop looking as it does thus far, I am trying to match as close as I can to my wordpress theme to create uniform look to my site.
My question I have is not so much a bug, I just need some guidance to which css area, I hope you can help save my hair please.
I have added a background image rather than a solid colour for the body CSS, I would like to add a white background to the centre area of the site when browsing products just like you have on the front page of the template.
I am referring to where the left column and the content column are, however if I add a colour background to the onerow-fluid css it also adds white over the top of the very top nav area where the shopping cart is shown and i dont what that area white.
How can I add a solid background colour to just that centre area of the template if you could point me in the right direction please?
This link shows where I want to add the white background rather than seeing the zigzag background at the sides between left column and content column.

True. But more astounding is the reason why I have the problem! If I tag the line below with my usual "//DTC" comment - it breaks the code! The background color change is ok, but not a trailing //-comment! Do observe that I'm using the comment throughout the file to mark my alterations.Quote:

There is no ONE "STANDARD Procedure" for comments. There are a few different options.. Which style you use depends very much upon the kind of file/code you are using it in..

While doing a little more work on my zen store and your awesome template I found what may be a little bug typo just maybe or it appears that way to me.
on my contact us page I was seing my address listed twice once before the actual contact us header and form and then again down lower in the page just before the contact form fields.
When i looked into /includes/templates/westminster_new/templates/tpl_contact_us_default.php
I discovered a duplicate entry of the following code which when I removed the code from line 20 to 22 the duplicate address was corrected:

Based on the error message, check the file:
/home/etm99gtn/public_html/includes/languages/fi_fi.php
and remove the space(s) blank and/or line(s) at the start of the file before the opening php bracket <?php and see if this corrects the problem ...
As a precaution, check at the bottom of the file and if there is a closing php bracket ?> remove that as well ...

You should have the ezpages_drop_menu.php sidebox turned off for left/right column and on for Single Column Status, and on for Show this Box @ Min-Width. If you don't want the ezpages sidebox to show then you should turn off the ezpages.php sidebox.Quote:

After installing the template I had to revert back to my previous oxford dark template, but now the buttons where "broken". They where not localized and they where text and not the *.gif buttons I had prior to the installation.

If this is one of the two posted fixes in the Slim Menu Github repo, then YEP they both work and solve the problem finally.. There are pull requests for both, but last time I checked the author hadn't yet accepted either pull request.Quote:

Maybe I should be a bit more specific. I have cleared history and cookies from both Android Chrome and Android FireFox browsers and see no difference in menu functionality before and after replacing the file. Maybe we are differing in our terminology.Quote:

Works perfect on all devices.. My test group Android and Apple users report that the functionality works as expected.
I did not expect that tapping the text and tapping the arrow icons would yield the same result.. neither did my test users (and I do not tell them what to expect because I want their GENUINE reactions)..
I expected that the arrows would open/close menus or sub-menus, I expected the text would take me to an associated link.. Perhaps this is because this is how a similar desktop menu would have behaved. So I don't expect DIFFERENT behavior on a mobile device.. I do expect that hover will likely not work on a mobile device..
While customizing the left slide out menu, I decided to change the name for the ezpages. Well, the ezpages weren't showing up after I did that! So I changed it back to Useful Links but they're still not showing up. I didn't change any ezpage or template settings in admin. Any idea?
