I have just installed this, copied and pasted relevant folder to their respective places in zencart. I have just installed News Articles & Side boxes. Now I am getting this

How do I fix this I know its simple up not sure now

You did nothing wrong. You just need to define your home page text. Another possibility is to go to to your admin -> configuration -> Layout Settings -> Categories - Always Show on Main Page. change from 0 to 1
