    Default PayPal processed payment - No order in admin

    Customers have placed orders, paid through PayPal which processed their payment (shows in the PayPal account), but their orders did not show up in the store Orders Admin.

    The customer does show up as a new customer, just no order information, so we have no idea what they ordered. I found a similar thread, but it said the issue had been addressed in 1.3.0 which is what I have installed at the moment. The other threads seemed to involve other currency setups, but this store is all US.

    PayPal is set up with this return url https://my-store.com/store/index.php...eckout_process

    No email confirmation was sent either.

    I'm new to ZenCart and I've tried to research this, but please forgive me if I've missed the answer somewhere.

    Are you using v1.3.0, or 1.3.0.2 ?

    Just an update. It appears that one of a variety of things occurred.

    1) in the process of moving files to the secure server, some were omitted, or corrupted.

    2) following tutorials and forum advice, I created some added /myfolder/ folders in directories that did not contain a /classic folder.

    3) I have created some pages through Define Page Editor, and also made some modifications and new pages via my local copy and then uploaded those.

    I did not mess with any of the files having to do with checkout processes, but the problem seems to be pointing to the period of time during the migration to the secure server with the SSL certificate installed. Is there a tutorial or instruction for that process so that we can double check that process?

    I just realized I needed to be more clear. The forum advice I followed did *not* say to create those /myfolder/ folders willy-nilly wherever I felt the urge, but only in folders which did, in fact, have a /classic folder. It was the forum that made me realize I had goofed there. I just don't know if an empty rogue folder could cause problems.

    Problem solved.

    It seems the problem was introduced after my host/programmer set up the https when we got my SSL certificate. Because ../languages/english/meta_tags.php affects the header information, he removed it from the server. Payments processed perfectly through PayPal with all notifications, orders recorded in the store, etc.

    Not realizing its significance and wanting my address bar to display the store tag line, I modified my local copy of the ../meta_tags.php file and uploaded it to my custom folder. That is the point at which the PayPal problems started.

    He removed the file last night and everything works again. I purged the file from my local copy to prevent the problem from recurring.

    We will be upgrading to Version 1.3.0.2 shortly.

    (I was already on a dedicated server and didn't realize that setting up the SSL thing did not involve moving any files.)
