ZenCart on Yahoo host without .htaccess - Has anyone done it?

Due to legacy issue, I need to build ZenCart on Yahoo Webhosting. But it does not allow .htaccess file.

1) Will ZenCart 1.3.8 and ZenCart 2.0 work without the .htaccess?

2) If I don't have .htaccess, can I ever get any of the commercial or non-commercial Search Engine Friendly URL add-ons to work?

3) I know Yahoo host is one of the more difficult host to setup shop in. But have anyone successfully run ZenCart on Yahoo?

You may be creating more headaches than this is worth... Hosts like YAHOO are for kids who have nothing better to do and other basic generic sites. E-commerce is serious stuff, and best done properly.

Use the yahoo site to auto re-direct to a properly configured server.

You can concern yourself with legacy SEO later - and this is much easier to rectify than battling to get a webshop working efficiently for customers (who will abandon you very rapidly when the site behaves badly!).

Don't risk what may seem a trivial short-cut in the immediate term. It could lead to the failure of your entire business...
