Installation: Table 'configuration' doesn't exist

Hi, I've been able to install Zen Cart on my own machine without any hassle whatsoever, but when trying to install it on my hosted server I recieve the following error message when starting the install process:

Installation In Progress...

1146 Table 'rowanw_zen.zen_configuration' doesn't exist
in:
[select configuration_title from zen_configuration where configuration_key='DEFINE_SITE_MAP_STATUS']

rowanw_zen is the name of the database, and zen_ is the prefix for tables.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the actual server or if some files were corrupted during FTP upload.

I'd appreciate any light you can shed on this issue, btw, this is version 1.3.0.1.

Nevermind, it seems files were actually getting mixed up when they were uploaded. I used a program called Beyond Compare to see which files were playing up and repaired those files.

I'm blaming this on one or all of three different possibile causes:
1. My FTP client (fileZilla)
2. My host
3. Norton Protection Center

If this one is set to on while uploading files, (no matter from where to where), then I would definitely say it's this one. I HATE norton products !!!
