Ceon URI Mapping (SEO)

We've been using 'Simple SEO'
And its working ok.
But we have an issue with 'layout settings/skip 1-product category'
we need to turn this on.
but it only works if our 'Simple SEO' module is turned off.
Something to do with URL rewrites?

Does anyone know if the Ceon Mod will have the same effect?

This is not the thread for Simple Seo but I will answer your question about it. I have 2 sites one with Ceon URI Mapping which works flawlessly and the other with Simple Seo which also works flawlessly. Go back and check your installation with Simple Seo or other Modules you have installed, because You have done something wrong somewhere. There is nothing wrong with the add-on itself that is causing the problem you describe with 'layout settings/skip 1-product category'.

have strange problem.

was testing this contribution on my remote server and everything was working ok.
then i copied the whole site to another one and automatic link generator creates no urls for categories/products.
i think that the problem is in function: ceon_uri_mapping_autogen_category_or_product_uri
as it returns empty string . not sure why as it was working on the other server . the variable $name for this function is passed properly when i echo it on the screen.
urls for ezpages are generated properly.
any help on this?
i guess it must be some server settings? but which one?

ok , above problem is fixed now.
it was a wrong charset in table :ceon_uri_mapping_configs in char_str_replacements field.
