    Default Improving speed

Hi, I was wodering is there a way to speed up zen cart? My store is under construction and when I navigate through the site to test it I noticed it moves very slow when clicking on products or links. There is a five second turn over before the new page opens up.

    1) have you read the tutorial on speeding your site up here
    https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=21
    2) Letting us see your site makes it a lot easier for us to suggest solutions
    3) Check your /cache folder for errors, as sometimes these can slow the site down
    4) run your site through a site validation service like the w3c validator, as bad code may make some impact
    5) Loook at optimising your images, imagehandler3 may be an idea

The info that you gave me bought it down to about 3 seconds so it is an improvement but still pretty slow.
