If its here then that error should no longer be happening.
See if there is a different error occuring now?
and if not then make sure you clear your browsers cache

Neither favicon.ico or logo.gif are referenced any where in this mod???

I did as you say and still nothing

try moving the file multi_xsell_box_defines.php out of the over-ride folder and directly into the extra_definitions folder
