Blank page after selecting template

I have encountered this problem on many FAQ's, but always seems to be a different solution than the one I need. I am fairly new at this, but a fast learner...
I have correctly installed a new template and am able to select it from the tools/select template. But when I try to see it online, all that I get a is a blank page.
Again, can someone (in layman's terms) help???? I have called my host provider, and everything appears fine on their end.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you, but I have read every tutorial, every FAQ, and none of these solutions are my problem. I have deleted, uninstalled and reinstalled my template. I have no errors from the upload.

Any other ideas?

As the article says, a blank page is the result of a PHP error.
The errors are logged, as explained in the article.
What's in the myDebug-xxxxx log files?

To be honest, there is no such folder in my cache folder. I am sorry to be of little help, but the apparent issues don't seem to be there. I have been dealing with this for days, and I am getting so frustrated!

What is your URL?
What happens if you switch back to "Classic" template? Does the problem persist?

I am running Zen Cart 1.3.9...

as I said, I just installed Zencart and right away installed a Zen Cart (Desert_noon) template.
I also reset the Layout Boxes Controller after template selection.

Also, if I switch it back to Classic I still get a blank screen.

So, it worked fine before you installed the addon template, and then it broke after you installed the addon?
Looks like installing that particular addon is the problem.

I'd be starting with a fresh clean install again, without the addon, and then go from there.

Again, thank you. I did that already. I reinstalled, uploaded a completely different template, and still had the same problem....blank screen. I'm not touching the files, just doing a simple FTP transfer.


How can everything look ok, I can select the template, I can preview it just fine, but it is blank when I try to bring it up?????

Sorry, just very frustrated! Any other suggestions?
