Fedex module not posting to "Estimate Shipping Costs"

First Post, bear with me.
I've installed the Fedex module and turned off all shipping options but Fedex Express. I filled out all the fields required including the fedex account field. (No cURL), I can see the https://gateway.fedex.com:443/GatewayDC in the php code.
I'm not seeing the "Fedex meter id" being populated or the fedex image showing up in the Estimate shipping cost in cart checkout.

What triggers the meter id to populate?

Hope someone can point out what's wrong.

Following are where I installed the fedex package:
(I'm using a template called "cold_steel").

/public_html/catalog/includes/templates/cold_steel/common/tpl_footer.php

/public_html/catalog/images/fedex-images

/public_html/catalog/includes/modules/shipping

/public_html/catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

It is my first time posting....

I've been having the same issue with the FedEx module that is not giving me a Meter ID. Even with my old Meter ID, the shipping estimate would work once in a while and other time nothing.

What I have done is this... in the field "Your FedEx Meter ID" I would enter none. The word "NONE" is completely in lower case. Somehow it works for me. Not sure if this will work for anyone else.

It is really strange... when I put "NONE", it does not work. When I put "none", it works.

Give this a try and I hope it works for you...

Go to your ADMIN ---> Modules ---> Shipping Modules and edit

for FedEX

Change into FALSE

International Priority:
Offer International Priority?

true
false

International Economy:
Offer International Economy?

true
false

International First:
Offer International First?

true
false


If you are using also Fedex Ground

International Home Delivery:
Offer International Home Delivery?

true
false

International Ground:
Offer International Ground?

true
false


For UPS Uncheck the following:

STD <--- Canada Ground
XPR
XPRL
XDM
XDML
XPD
WXS
