Sales report 2.0

My debug log files are fine. There's nothing in there that relates. I did look at the article but I'm not really thinking it pertains to me, it sounds like its more for people who can't log into their admin AT ALL. I log in just fine. Only problem I have right now is when I go to sales report, click show me the money, I'm kicked back out of admin and forced to log back in. The logging in part works just fine, thank you though!

i use sales report 2.3.2 as is and have no problems with it at all, it does not edit any core files either.

should not conflict with another mod unless that other mod deals with almost this type of thing.

when you say you might need to reinstall the admin mod??? admin comes with the store software so am lost on that item. renaming the admin folder is the proper and safe thing to do so that won't be the issue.

i forgot is your template purchased from the MONSTER...eeeeeek

have you tried using the default template to test it...checked the cache folder for error messages?

Has anybody noticed that tax calculations are off. The report is subtracting the sales tax from goods total.

in your customizing did you remember to use copies for any edits that you may have done to the files?

if so then, and it is drastic...but I had to do this once myself...

reupload all original files for the zencart, at least in the admin folder.

then see if it still misbehaves

I know it's a stretch, but I've also seen problems with extra files in the directories - e.g. .bak files. I usually get a blank screen and not a redirect from this though.

I run Zen Cart v1.3.9h and I have Sales Report 2.3.2. Everything is working fine when I select a preset date, but the custom date range will not work for me.

Attached is an image of where I should be able to select the dates but I'm not sure what's going wrong.



Any ideas on what I should do???

I would first go to my zip for the sales mod and then upload each and every file to the server exact spots.

sometimes the web hiccups and slightly corrupts a file on upload but then sometimes we miss one

I still can't get it to work for the custom date range. I uploaded via FTP and also a manual upload. I also went back and uploaded a previous version, tried it on a PC and Mac along with 4 different browsers and I still can only use the preset dates.

A text field should show up for me to select a date correct?

ok then let me ask a dumb obvious question but I just have to... did you click the button that says preset?

will they show up that way...it should change from preset to custom.

Hi, I had a little trouble finding an answer to this by searching this forum, so I thought I would post the answer to my own question. I'm sure it's in an obvious place, but just in case it's not. I get so much help from these forums, so I like to do my part when I can. My problem was that I couldn't find how to search by date range when I installed the Sale Report. I opened zc_admin/includes/languages/english/stats_sales_report.php and changed the default setting for DEFAULT_DATE_SEARCH_TYPE from 'preset' to 'custom'. This automatically displays the date range start and end dates. I hope this is clear enough the way I've written it.
