    Hi Folks,

I just upgraded from version 2.1 to 3.0. Following installation directions, I had no error during the update.

However, when I tried to create/update my site map for the first time, I got this error in the popup screen:

The website cannot display the page. in the more information section I got this explanation:

This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

Please note that I checked all three parameters prior to clicking the Send button.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

What version of zen cart are you using? If you are not on version 1.5 you shouldn't have installed the SQL statement at all. The SQL statement is for zen cart 1.5
Is your site Upgraded to the current version 1.5.4 Yet?

    Hi Everyone,

Once the /sitemapindex.xml file is uploaded to Google it gives me errors on the following files:
    1. sitemapezpages.xml
    2. sitemapmanufacturers.xml
    3. sitemapreviews.xml

(Parsing error:We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting.)

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if any other details are needed.

    Thanks.

GREAT addition to zencart thnx for creating this !

just some help for people having troubles with the language files

    For people having the problem;

    HEADING_TITLE

... copy/paste the languages/english and admin/includes/languages/english folder and rename it to your language (im using dutch version so i copied and pasted and renamed to dutch)

    then upload to your server..

this will fix the problem since now the script can find the right language files :)

then you can edit the extra_definitions/sitemapxml.php file to change to your language ..

hope this helps some people out who had this problem too

    Thank You.

I got a bit further myself. Google doesn't like any '&' signs in the Url's for sitemap submission. That means that the 3 above mentioned files have to have friendly Url's before submitting .

So the Ezpages, Previews and manufacturers xml files need to be Url friendly first.
