Hi, I've uploaded all the required files and patched SQL. After doing so I have been unable to log into my admin area. My admin login page is BLANK!! I am freaking out! I've now deleted all of the files, not sure how to manually uninstall the SQL patch. PLEASE HELP! Want to remove this module so I can log into admin area again. I have version 1.3.9h.

maybe too late, but the repeated advice all over the forum is before you update/add on any mods is to backup your site... this includes your database if the mod has sql patches etc.

to backup the database get to phpMyAdmin or equivalent and export all the tables to file on your PC

Tip: to keep track of each version, adopt a naming convention like 'DatabaseName_Date_Time.sql' once you've backed up the database then and only then apply sql patches.

If it goes belly-up you can easily undo the changes by revisiting phpMyAdmin and dropping all the tables and re-importing the database that worked.

Sorry folks I have moved away from zen-cart but have a few legacy clients still using zen-cart.

I can confirm FEC does work with 1.5.0 (see my clients website: saltwatersandals4u.com to see it in action) I installed the last version as is then had to go into phpadmin to activate the module by switching it to true from false. Just an FYI...

I could of added it into the menu but since I only have two clients still using zen-cart it wasn't worth my time to re-modify the add on to make the admin menu work.

Looks like FEC has just been updated for use on the Numinix website for ZC 1.5.0....

While the newest version of FEC is indeed working with Zen Cart 1.5 it still has a lot of old 1.38 code in it files.

I must say, even though I know it is all free and I really do appreciate all the work that is being put in it, I was a little disappointed.

So it works, but I wouldn't call it compatible.

Yes but I would recommend the FEAC version well worth the expense. The A means Ajax. This is on Numinix

After Indonesian zone module installed.

Now, I'm experiencing slow checkout and also.. during COWA option, the sububr & city for my customer, did not show the drop down as in the sign-up option.

And the telephone number field name is not showing the correct field name...

can anyone please help? THANKS.

Did you load all at the same time or did you load each and check if it works? You need to know when/what it broke.
What I would do is zipup your live cart down load it. Using Beyond compare or equal remove the zone module and Gift wrapping. Then zip up and see if it will work now. If all is not OK then load the cart on the right side and load FEC on the left side of Beyond compare. After checking all files should be equal. You may find one file loaded wrong or a file missing or you wrote over a shopping cart file instead of merging. The point is FEC will work with zencart meaning something is not installed correctly. Once that is working OK then using Beyond Compare load the next module and merge into the shopping cart. Check if it works OK then load in the zone module and merge into the shopping cart. Check if it is still working. Pay close attention that one module is not overwriting a file in the shopping cart. This is the reason to not upload a module into your cart, you should use Beyond compare so you can see what is about to happen, upload the module merge shopping cart not the module into the cart.

ok... found it.. will give it a go...
But... what possibly be the cause of the slow checkout? is it missing pages? because I did not encounter any blank pages or error codes... just slowww processing during checkout..

Got a couple of questions having just installed FEC on our main site (we already had it working on two of our other sites)

1. With the check box for "Same address for billing and shipping" I'd like this unchecked by default rather than checked. I can do this by changing Configuration>Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration>Copy Billing to false, but then the shipping drop-down doesn't display initially, only when you check and uncheck the box. Is there a fix for this?

2. I had a javascript banner: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156100 which was working perfectly well until I installed FEC, and now it's blank. Not entirely sure what's gone wrong (I assume it's to do with the CSS JS loader I uploaded before installing FEC), has anyone had similar problems?
