Thats sound advice gilby, but have you tried any of those threads? The first one points to the Data importer addon (which is OK) The 2nd one follows through to an old FAQ link that now doesn't exist and the third thread is closed as it was sort of set up as a poll.

Don't get me wrong I am grateful for any advice, but I have been looking for this for a while, hence why I asked on the forum.
