Sales report 2.0

Hi,

I've installed this sales report mod but I'm not seeing it in admin under reports.

I've triple checked that I uploaded the file structure correctly. Dont know what to do at this point. Please help...

What version of Zen Cart are you running?

Your version of Zen Cart™ appears to be current.
(You are presently using: v1.3.9h)

Current version of Zen Cart is 1.5.0

I am guessing you downloaded the file written expressly for 1.5.0 instead of the download right below it for 1.3.9

Remove the files you put up on the server and replace them with the ones for your version of Zen Cart and it should work properly for you.

Yep you're right. I see that in the download page.

This might be off topic, but why does it say in my zencart admin that the version is current? Should I upgrade my zencart then?

It is always best to have the most current version of any software installed.

Ok got it thanks.

I just installed the sales report for my version of zen cart. I seem to have an issue with exporting csc format. The data is all wrong. When I view the sales in print format it seems to display everything correctly with sales tax collected and discounts given with shipping amounts. When I export the same date range into csv everything is not correct at all. Sales taxes are full amounts, not taking to consideration discount coupons and so are the total sales.

Looks like the program just takes quantity sold and multiplies it by price ignoring everything else. Any idea why this is happening?

It definitely only gives you the total sale on the export - it does not reduce the total by the discounts, gift certificates, etc.

Hmm well that's not good at all. It gave me a huge sales tax collected amount. Way more than was actually collected. Is there another mod that would allow to export the actual data? Because this one would give me wrong sales figures on export all the time.
