As I did the install with a fresh install of v1.5 I didn't use Winmerge.
I'll reinstall my test shop and work with Winmerge and see what happens.

It's odd that you would need to use winmerge, as there are no modified files in the download, only new files. What file(s) did you need to "merge"?

This is probably a dumb question but I am good at asking them ....... where do I find the 3 images to download on the Dynamic Drive website ??

from instructions ... "Download the three images from the Dynamic Drive website and save them in /includes/templates/your_template/images/."

Is there a way to have the slide show show up in the header, but ONLY on the home page.

I have the slide show in the header and I like where it is but I can't get it (or know if it is even possible) to only show up on the home page and not on every page.

Any thoughts. On this is on v1.39

You have the old version of the fade-in slideshow. The new version is set by default to only display on the homepage, so the easiest thing might be to install that instead. The latest bugfix update has not been activated yet (the devs are busy getting the new forum straightened out), so you will need to add quotes " " around the PHP code snippets mentioned in posts 65 & 66 above.

I had the same problem after I had finished installing the files. I found that in jscript_fadeshow_setup.php there was a : used instead of a ; on IMG03 (I think). Hope this helps.

Thanks for finding that. I need better glasses:) (seriously:) Between black keyboards designed to be unreadable in the dark, and some fonts with minimal distinction between details like :/; , I need to double-check files before use.
I'll add that fix to the zip revision.

I have my site in 2 languages, English and French, is it possible to have 2 different image groups, one should only show for English visitors, and the other only for French visitors?
