Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]

Hi,
Love the Template!
On my home page, the NEW tab at the bottom does not open when going to the page.

I would be sooooo interested in this if you did it.. I have been quietly looking at how to grab the menu from this great template to use as a standalone menu..

I do have this on my list and hope to be able to get to it soon ;-) You can also use the tutorial that I used to build the menu here:

Hi Anne,
I already have 17 products added to the cart. But none of the tabs are open when you first load the home page.
If I click the NEW tab, it opens and shows all the products. Is there any way to get the NEW tab to open by default when the page first loads?

The tab opening with featured products showing is the default behaviour of the module. I would recommend posting your question to the support thread for the module I used to create the tabs Tabbed Home Page Modules.

I have tried as suggested in modifying the includes/templates/abbington_mega/templates/tpl_index_default.php file to rearrange the featured/new/specials tabs on the main page (see pic) and have had no luck in getting the What's New tab to show up first. I tried rearranging the order of the code in the tpl_index_default.php fil as well as changing the navOne, navTwo, and navThree ordering within the file but to no avail. I am not sure what to do from here, so I have incuded the code in the file below as well.

I used the Tabbed Home Page Modules module for this funtionatliy. I would recommend reading and posting to that module's thread for your solution.

I posted over there and am waiting for a response. I will let you know what I find as I do not think I am the only one who has encountered this issue. I noticed that his module was written for version 1.3.9 and think that it may have something to do with how version 1.5.0 handles things as I tried--just for grins and giggles--to see what would happen if I replaced the tpl_index_default.php file with the one from his mod, but had the same issue. ((shrugs)) probably just my luck.
