Have to agree with DivaVocals - I installed SuperOrders 4 into a new zencart 1.5 install, no need to worry about templates, just rename your admin directories, works great :-)

I am new to the support thread forum as far as posting any problems. SO I will try to clarify my situation. I have a new install of zen cart 1.50 and have made a few add-ons (easy populate, recover cart sales, email manager). They all seemed to work correctly after I installed them. I have used the older version of Super Orders on my older version of Zen Cart (1.39h). I did a new install of Zen Cart 1.50 on a different host. I renamed the ADMIN folders to my current ADMIN folder names and uploaded the files. I did not receive any message about a successful install though. I did find this error after you mentioning the log files:
[29-Jun-2012 11:40:32] PHP Warning: require(includes/init_includes/init_so_config.php) [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/pitst0p/public_html/includes/autoload_func.php on line 48
[29-Jun-2012 11:40:32] PHP Fatal error: require() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'includes/init_includes/init_so_config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/pitst0p/public_html/includes/autoload_func.php on line 48
When I attempted to open my browser to go to my login screen on my host, i got an error saying it wasn't found and the site may be down for maintenance. So I reversed the install and it is all back to normal now.
I hope that information is a bit more helpful.
Thanks for your assistance.
Okay.. I am still not fully clear if this is an install on a vanilla Zen Cart store (NO previous Super Orders installation) or if this is an upgraded 1.3.8 or 1.3.9 store..
Not clear at all.. Which login screen the Zen Cart admin login?? Not sure what you are describing is occurring since you have not provided the exact error message you see.. So I'm left to guess what the error message MIGHT be, and I'm afraid I can't begin to hazard a guess about what's wrong without some more specifics.. Sorry..
If I had to guess I'd say based on the error it looks like you did not install Super Orders correctly. It would appear that you did not upload the install files to the correct folder locations. (namely it looks like you uploaded some of the files from the admin/includes folder to the shop's includes folder) Please double check your install this version of Super Orders really is very much plug-n-play if you follow the installation instructions..

This actually isn't really a "Super Orders" question.. What you are asking is more of a general Zen Cart "how do I do this" kind of question.. Since the the "super" code that makes Super Orders "super" is now integrated into the default orders.php, invoice.php, and packingslip.php files, the answer to your question is the same regardless of whether or not you use Super Orders.. There are posts which discuss how to add the product model number to the order/invoice/packingslip. Those same instructions should also work for product ID.. Suggest doing a search on the forum for these posts..

I have the same problem that oldgeezer has. This is a brand new install to zen-cart V1.5. I logged in to the admin before uploading the two folders. I did change the admin folder names to reflect the same admin folder name on my site. After uploading I went to the admin page and clicked on a link, the screen went blank and nothing has happened. I checked the error log and I get the following error
[30-Jun-2012 08:17:46] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare update_status() (previously declared in /home/mardyb1/public_html/sharpchain.com/zen/zc_admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/common_orders_functions.php:101) in /home/mardyb1/public_html/sharpchain.com/zen/zc_admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/super_orders_functions.php on line 54
Question about how to modify invoice to show product id moved to a new thread:

I received this error after installing my Zen sql admin patch section.

I did read through this forum...but heck I don't know how to fix it.
Should I start over?
Thank you.
Ok...I am definitely not a programmer:
Now I received this error:

Oh...DivaVocals...please don't get mad at me...:)
Can you please let me know the fix?
Thank you so much :)
