You need to be editing the override file in includes/languages/english/ashley_pink/header.php

I would like to add Google Analytics script. I am supposed to add it to the common/tpl_main_page.php but when I go to common folder, there is no tpl_mail_page.php. It isn't in the original files I downloaded or the files I uploaded to my server. Can you advise where the file is? Thank you.

If you need to edit a file that is not already contained in the template package, then you will need to create an override for the file.

I am also having a problem with the slider coding on the home page. I deleted just the text underneath the slider so that you just see the images and now they are not showing up. Any idea why?

Oh and one more thing. I want to have the search bar be in the header but not on the side. But when I activate the header the box shows up automatically on the side. Do you know where I go to fix that coding and take it out? THANK YOU!

My guess is that you edited the define_main_page.php file with a wysiwyg editor. This is a php file and should only be edited with a plain text editor. You can reupload the define_main_page.php file from the template package.

If you follow the directions in the readme.html file for turning on the search box in the header your problem will be fixed.
