good for you!!
I'm sleep deprived and wasn't in the mood to point out what was IMHO easy to find.. and if I wasn't clear it's creinholds last update that's on page 9. Of course that is superceded by RoboPhungs version.. and ALL of this information is fairly easy to find by simply reading through this thread..
Well off to get some sleep.. it was a LONG ugly past weekend of Zen Cart upgrading for me..

Quick question (if anyone is still on this mod) :
Does the mod removes attributes from the product (radio button with clothing item size) when I modify the file and import it ?
Thank you.
wow, that was close! thanks for asking as we did have an issue the last time we upgraded and are about to do the same....
Soooo????? anyone able to shed any light on that?

Well, just in case someone else did not think about this as an situation that may come up during the install, remembering now, the issue for us before was that it brought all the quantities of products with quantities by attributes back to zero. We also had to rebuild some products as the attributes disappeared because their was a feature change in the last SBA from the previous that did not accommodate some of our attribute configurations from a much older mod...but this new SBA should be in line with the last, which is what we are using, from what I've read here. Doing a new inventory will be the only issue if their is a problem, I think.
Upgrading for us to 1.5 will be a complicated migration for us from a Windows server to Linux (finally offered by our favorite hosting service after ten years) and I may have the tech guys just move the whole db for me instead of repopulating. I may have to request that they somehow leave the old store live until the new is up and running. I only had a short window of time last time they assisted in this manor.
It really depends on your build. I migrated my shop from v 1.3.0.2 of zencart to v 1.5.1 myself and it kept all my stock values intact in the database. there were some other peculiarities on getting the stock by attribute to show properly and I haven't been able to get dropdowns to work while displaying the actual stock of each attribute in the shop. I wound up doing the rebuild on a separate site, testing it out completely before migrating it to the root directory and making it go live.

Hi
I've read through this entire thread. Our store has been using SBA installed on 1.3.8a. From what I understand I need to run the uninstall.sql before installing again. I was wondering if running the uninstall would wipe all the stock attributes allready asigned to my products? I'm going to be installing on a test database but am going to have to go live ASAP as my store is down due to security issues.
Thanks
Craig
