Disappearing Category Description

I have made 5 categories...

I filled one category successfully, when I click on it..I see it's description and all the products...

So I started the second category...and when I add the product..the description disappears....when I delete the product, the description of the category comes back to the page.

I did everything the same way...

So I tested a third category...and the same thing happened....the description is there for the category until I add a product..then only the product listing shows, no category description until I delete the product.

I have no idea how to even begin to figure this out...I tested to make sure I was using the same product-free shipping choice..etc...

I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate...I searched and couldn't find anything on this though I imagine it has happened before, so if someone could even post a relevant thread I would be ecstatic.

If you go to http://fourthperimetertactical.com/catalog you will see what I mean...the category Long Term Survival kits is showing up fine, but Short Term Emergency Kits the cat. description is not appearing. (This is not a live store yet)

I'd appreciate any clues...thank you.

What happens when you add two products to a new category?

I see the standard behavior when a category has only one product - the code knows this and goes straight to the product instead of showing the category page with one link. You can change this setting in admin if you want to.

Ok, that was it...I just hit panic mode I guess after a long day...adding the second product brought back the description.
