ZX Slideshow support thread

It shouldn't return a 404, unless you're doing something very wrong. What's the URL you get in the address bar after you click the new entry in Configuration->ZX Slideshow. I bet you just registered the page incorrectly...

Thank you for the fast response.

Zen Cart admin says I've successfully registered the page. Is there only one file to install in the admin? If I try to register the page again I get 'Page key already exists. Page keys must be unique.'

Can you reply to my first question, please? What's the URL you get in the address bar after you click the new entry in Configuration->ZX Slideshow? You can take out the domain and admin directory.

How on earth did you manage to get that?! Take a look at the screenshot attached to se how you're supposed to register the admin page. You will have to take a look in your database to find the actual DB entry ID in configuration_group table and replace the two instances of XX with your IDs.
If the page key is already taken, just add 2 at the end (zxSlideshow2) or something like that.

Yikes I've got 6 different IDs listed in the configuration_group for ZX Slideshow Configuration by ZenExpert... Can I delete some of these? I currently have two instances of Zen Slideshow in the Configuration Menu.

You have 6? Hehe, seems like you didn't install it properly. Well, here's what you can do: go to your admin section and manually enter the URL to be something like https://kcbgraphics.com/*********/co...ion.php?gID=XX and see which of those 6 IDs works. Then go and register your page.

I used zx-slideshow to new version of zencart, it works perfect on PC, I can see the slides,however when I view the website on Ipad or Iphone, the slides are only showling half, anyone has same issue, or anyone can help me, thank you so much.

Page Name: BOX_CONFIGURATION_ZX_SLIDESHOW
Page Filename: FILENAME_CONFIGURATION
Page Parameters: gID=YOUR_CONFIGURATION_GROUP_ID
Menu: Configuration
Display on Menu: Check
Sort Order: YOUR_CONFIGURATION_GROUP_ID

Having trouble getting the link to show up on configurations,

I have seen Balihr post up 2 differant way to set up the "admin page registration" page

Can someone please confirm how it should be worded, as mine is showing "The language key entered has not been defined. Please check that it has been spelt correctly."

First off, thank you so much for this contribution, balihr! Making use of the banner manager this way was a brilliant idea!

My question is, if I want to make the slideshow full width of the main container and appear above the left, right and center columns, but underneath the header (and appearing only on home page), what file do I need to edit and how?
