Product Info Single Attribute Display Plugin ...........single_dropdown CHANGED TO multiple_dropdowns and it shows the attribute in the shopping cart but it will let me put out of stock attributes in the cart.

I guess if I have to turn off:

Show Out of Stock Attributes True CHANGE TO False

Single dropdown is broken. It's a problem with dynamic dropdowns, which for both better and for worse, is integrated with this version of SBA. Multi dropdowns will work, and so will sequenced dropdowns. You might have missed it, but it's been mentioned several times by me and others in this thread.

I've only tested as far as adding OOS products to the shopping cart, but then the customer is not allowed to initiate the checkout process so long as there are OOS products in the shopping cart (which are indicated as OOS when viewing the shopping cart).

Sorry, I have not tested disabling the ability to add OOS items from the product listing itself, so I can't offer much input into that.

I wonder how/where images connected with attributes show up? I'm able to add an image to an attribute using the attributes controller (and the yellow circle with black line shows up in the listing, subsequently). But if I select the product on the shop page and select its attributes from sequential pulldown I never get to see the image. Any hints are highly appreciated!

This was asked awhile back, but my attribute images disappeared when I finished my install of RoboPhungs wonderful effort on this mod for 1.5.1.

Still haven't got mine working again but one place to check is Configuration > Attribute Settings > Enable Attribute Images: true.

Also, in the Zen manual: "Attributes of option type Read Only cannot have images associated with them. Even if you have defined an image for this type of attribute, it will not be displayed."

I'd be interested to know if anyone else noticed their attribute images disappearing with this latest version.

This addon allows products which are out of stock to be placed on a cart. Then when you try to purchase the cart the screen just refreshes with out any error message. If you have multiple products on the cart you cannot tell which product is causing the refresh.

Has anyone been able to get this addon to work properly?

Not 100 per cent.

Robophung's posts have the best information as they are striving to perfect this mod.

We are still playing with the settings under Config > stock and this issue. Most of the time, if the customer is patiently moving back and forth between the product details page and the shopping cart, the page refreshes to show the out of stock count...but not always. Most of the time, they can't check out...but not always and we've got to settle down and figure out exactly what conditions bring this on.

Just to make sure...are you downloading the version I linked from my webserver in a post on this thread? Or are you using the one "officially" updated on the plugins section? The one in the plugins section is no good.

Also, did you make sure you don't have any other plugins that modify the same files as SBA? And if you do, are you quite certain that you merged the codes properly and successfully?

I'm puzzled as to why Athena is having issues with the shopping cart indicating OUT OF STOCK when there really is not enough stock. But perhaps I'll contact you directly this weekend and you can provide me with a link to your zencart store and I'll look at the broken behavior that you're describing.

I will also work on getting this release cleaned up, I'm going to take out the single dynamic dropdown option, because I've looked at the code in detail and I can see why it doesn't work...and to get it working requires quite a bit of additional code, probably more than I have time to contribute toward.

Additionally, I'm going to integrate a tweaked version of product attribute grids to this release, and then formally submit the plugin into the plugin section so that everyone can see it, and hopefully, this version will have all major bugs ironed out.

Thanks so much for working on this mod...it is so valuable a part of zencart's plugin offerings. Looking forward, also, to the grid application. Like the way that looks on your site.

Stevesh you were right! When I installed zen cart somehow it created an admin folder named adminurrhtcqq, I also had an admin folder. I moved all the files from the admin folder to the adminurrhtcqq folder and wala I now have menu items!!! I am sooo happy I don't know how to thank you guys! You are the best!! Now I just need to test it. I will keep my finger crossed! I need to try to figure out why I wasn't given the option to rename my own admin folder so this wouldn't have happened.

I am forever grateful to you both, and you are greatly appreciated!

Sorry stupid question from a newbie here. I have this plugin installed, so far, but since I'm using the stupid CEON URI mapper, my .htaccess file is all funky. Translation: when I go to http://my_store_url/stock_by_attr_install.php, I get a 404 error (page not found). I know there are multiple targets here, but any clue how to help me here? Thanks you guys!
