Email after sale not working at new host

I just moved from GoDaddy to JustHost.com for my hosting, moved my files over. Everything works accept when an order is placed, I get no email about an order and the customer does not get an email either.

Does anyone have any idea on what needs to be fixed? It is a Linux server running PHP 5.2. (Single php.ini).

Any help would be appreciated!

What email TRANSPORT METHOD is JustHost using?

The default for ZC is "php" but they may use SMTP or SENDMAIL or whatever.

Ask them, then alter your TRANSPORT settings in Admin >>> Configuration >>> Email settings.

Kobra, I have not set up email accounts with the new host yet bcz my domain and emails are still with GoDaddy at this time.

They said that emails are fine to process via PHP or sendmail. Doesn't matter.

My domain is still pointed at the GoDaddy hosting until I get all the bugs taken care of. Not sure if that matters.

Er... it's what matters most.

Why not update the DNS (point the domain to JustHost) and put an index.html file in the root (Under Construction). At least the domain is now pointing to the new server (which includes the mail server).

yep. that did it. I just didn't want to switch the nameserver until I knew everything was working right, and turns out that I had to switch it for that to work...duuhhhh....
