Categories Dressing

I see
<div class="betterCategories"> in your sidebox source code, which shows that you have installed the Better Categories files on top of the Categories Dressing files, wiping them out. You will be unable to get any CD styling or other functionality until you upload the correct files.

tpl_categories.php may be the only file that needs to be reinstalled; the stylesheet you have can stay.

I think that was something that I'd had installed in the past. What files specifically conflict with categories dressing so I know which ones to remove?

Categories Dressing only changes one stock file, tpl_categories.php, but it is possible that BC alters another file which controls the sidebox content. /includes/modules/sideboxes/your_template/categories.php would be one possibility. ch_categories.php should be the module file controlling the expanded categories sidebox, though.

Thank you! I think I tried to reload those before, but will try again and see if that works.

I reinstalled a clean version of both tpl_categories.php and categories.php and am still not seeing any changes. Any other suggestions?

As of this morning, you still have the betterCategories version of tpl_categories.php in your custom template folder. Check the locations of files you replaced. What is the exact path (starting with /includes/) to these files?

From what I can see, the file location is /includes/templates/MYTEMPLATE/templates/tpl_categories.php (MYTEMPLATE being my custom file). Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing, I do not see any reference to BetterCategories in there at all.
